Therefore, now his video will not be well received by a part of the audience. I think you can see it in the comments. After the 24th, he supported Ukraine and started releasing songs in Ukrainian. Dorn is a very famous artist who performs not typical, not mainstream music, but at the same time is quite popular (usually, in Ukraine, non-mainstream performers do not have a large audience. Alina Pash is a good example of this. Popular Onuka or Dakha-Brakha are rather exceptions ). Most of Dorn's videos are rather atypical, weird or artistic. For example, "Опомнись" or "Во сне."

I believe that it's not good practice to blame people for their mistakes in the past. We all have something similar. We need to evaluate people based on what they are doing right now. It's especially important during time of the war.

@@UNCLEMOMO He moved to Ukraine from Russia at the age of 2 (his father was a nuclear physicist who worked at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant). It is difficult to say who his parents are by nationality. Little is written about them in biographies. However, "Dorn" is a Jewish surname that belonged to Ivan's mother. However, the USSR was a mixture of many peoples. People constantly moved around the country, so it is difficult to establish its ethnic origin.
