legit at 12:53 I've never seeing any player pull out this move. Demidov hockey IQ. its not only elite its all world. I also notice kid doesn't shy away from contact, every time he gets a chance he'll finish his checks

I've been watching Hab prospects closely for some 25 years and he's easily the most naturally skilled prospect I have ever seen for the Habs. It's just a question of how much can be done on the physical side of things, adding a lot of lower body strength to the point where it's even a fraction of say Slaf who of course is a horse and Demidov will never be power type of forward but if he can get the strength up a good bit and keep adding mass, there's no telling how good he will be.

yes but not because he is Russian. Because we don't know if they will allow him to play outside of Russia. That was the fear for drafting Michkov, knowing that Michkov is coming this year is proof that we shouldn't be afraid to draft them.

Habs fans are funny. If you were to ask any of them who is better, celebrini or demidov, they would say demidov. He went at 5 for a reason. Not saying he is bad but keep your expectations in check

The Oilers picked Yakupov at 1st for a reason. Just ended up being the wrong one. Where you were picked means nothing when all is said and done. Celebrini and Demidov have very similar games imo, hockey fans will be treated to watching either play.

No gloves off no fight, that's just wrestling. But yeah at least he didn't turtle and that's what is truly important...huge show of character.
