Isn't that why it's as funny as it is? So close to reality, perhaps terrifyingly so. I find him a lot funnier than Alan Partridge (even early Alan Partridge).

There's a whole TV series in this character.... brilliant, unique, refreshing. Just when you think there's nothing new in comedy, this guy proves you wrong.

Tom Binns is nothing like any of his characters. That's what is so amazing about Ivan Brackenbury. He's simple and clueless in a way that none of Binn's other personas are. He's doing an old schtick but done at an angle that catches you off guard.

Unexpected Aphex Twin. Nice.

I work in community radio and I can tell you this: there are Brackenburys everywhere, totally incompetent and blissfully unaware of it. They don't last long.... but they are always included on the Christmas bloopers reels.......

I do Hospital Radio and I think this is bloody hilarious 😂 He does repeat the same jokes over and over though.

I remember this guy in 8 out of 10 cats AGES ago but saying that he made an impression on me,I think he's misunderstood in other clips? I can't help but think this comedian was really close to breaking through to the mainstream and being recognised,it baffles me how he didn't become famous? Luck? Connections? Was character driven comedy in the swine? Could it been another Cougan easily

@@hufclufc Mate I've seen it,it's HILARIOUS,I guess you have to be in the right place or the right time? Or have connections? I really think he's underappreciated,he gets the psychic spot on! The condescending tone,plus the way he does it in an effeminate Geordie accent!!!! :) :) :) Gold mate
