Ivan Aivazovsky: A collection of 729 paintings (HD) *UPDATE
Ivan Aivazovsky: A collection of 729 paintings (HD) *UPDATE (added over 150 new paintings than previous video)
Description: "One of the most fascinating and richly talented artists of the past two centuries was undoubtedly the Armenian-Russian painter Ivan Aivazovsky. Ethnically an Armenian, he was born the city of Feodosiya which was then a part of the Russian Empire. Today Feodosiya is a port city in the Crimean Ukraine.
Although Aivazovsky was born in 1817 into a poor family, his father did an amazing job of providing him with a high quality education, teaching him to speak several languages fluently. The young Aivazovsky also showed extraordinary artistic potential from an early age, which proved to be his ticket to a future life of wealth and fame as one of Europe’s most brilliant artists.
Aivazovsky earned a seat in the Simferopol gymnasium No. 1. His most important training came in Russia’s St. Petersburg Academy of Arts - his raw talent was his payment for a first-class education."

I think Turner had a far better technique for e. g. depicting storm at sea. This just my view.
The depth and majesty of this mans work is staggering. Thank you for the presentation.
It must be an absolute pleasure to see the paintings in real, total bliss, better than any photo.
Wow! Breathtakingly beautiful
Superb, minunat, inegalabil!
What a nice video of an exceptional artist. And superb piano too! Sometimes when I need to calm down I listen to the beautiful music. I often wonder why in the 21 century painters of such caliber no longer exist. I believe mankind has lost something significant along the way.*Thank you for making the world more beautiful.*
Thank you..Bravo 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Incredible that this great artist is jot better known. A privilege to see this, thank you.

Not known? He's the most famous seascape painter ever, rivalled only by J. M. Turner. Just to say, I like Turner far more, I think Aivazovsky's drawing concept is a bit naive. In his less successful works he seems outdated. You should learn to look with a critical eye. Then you would find that e.g. Repin, a Ukrainian, or Levitan, a Polish Jew, or Shishkin, A Russian, were high class masters but Aivazovsky possibly wasn't that good. He had many masterpieces, of course.
Absolutly fantastic !
A blessed man. At a time when most people could only dream of leaving their villages or towns, he traveled almost the world, was in some of the most beautiful palaces with some of the most influential people. And on top of all that lived a long life with a family!
Thanks a lot for making and bringing this beauty to us, my only regret is not discovering it earlier
I love his ability to capture light on water and his skies are beautiful with both sun and moon paintings, however sometimes I can't help but feel that less boats might be better, they often overcrowded the paintings. Or maybe it's because I just watched around 700 of them one after the other...

the artistic movement he was a part of at the time, romanticism, focused on emotional struggles primarily. To them, a great seascape would be empty without the boat. Aivazovsky used seascapes to express the unyielding forces of nature contrasted to the determination of humans, despite how disadvantaged the scene has it set up. Likewise with the celebration and peacefulness of a successful battle against nature, despite how small the victory's rewards might be. I'm not sure what the movement might be called now. Though I can appreciate where he was coming from I find beauty in a some sense of liminal emptiness and longing in paintings as well. The conflicts he saw just aren't the same as those we can see from our place in the future.
Outstanding works. Beautiful!
Very beautiful. He is a great master! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for showing your art its very colorful and full of life its fantastic!
I like how he captured the atmosphere of men’s intrepid attempt to meander into the unknown. All the while keeping the natural connection between the different forms of water above and below.
Phew! Out of this world, beautiful!
Fantastique ! un de mes peintres favoris ....

Savršenstvo u slikanju talasa, prozračnih ledenih i čudesno osvetljenih od olujnog neba.Pravi je čarobnjak u prenošenju doživljaja.

Amazing artist inspirational artwork!
No video gallery of his works can reflect the sheer majesty of real marine paintings, scattered through several world class museums ( Tretiakov in Moscow, Russian State museum in StPetersburg, Ayvazovsky’s home museum in Feodosia, Crimea). I was privileged, being born in StPetersburg, growing up there, spending hours in front of his “Ninth wave” and several other master pieces. The size of that painting could take you right to a little raft, barely hanging in front of a giant wave. The sheer terror of that wave haunted me for a long time after I saw it for the first time at 10. Hiking through Crimea, spending time in many places there, I recognize these places on his paintings, most of which are in Feodosia’s museum. Ayvazovsky ( Ayvazian) spent quite a few years in Italy, leaving us unforgettable images of Amalfi coast, Capri and Venice. But most importantly, no other marine artist in the world, including famous English ones, reached the secret of water translucency like him!
Gifted with the way he painted light.
Perfect paintings .
Great Edition.All painters
Oh god I love your videos, the music the art ….oh so heaven
This is lovely ❤
First, Thank you for making this video. We really appreciate the effort. Alsof your choice of music is great. I have just discovered the beauty of and excellence of Ivan. I have always loved Rembrandt for his color composition but I can only recognize his talent. I hope I will be able to see one of his paintings in real life

Gracias,hermosas pinturas,con unos cielos increíbles,gracias
Thank you for all these collections, beyond masterful! Demonstrating what can happen without cable. The minds that aren't enslaved by mediocrity. We haven't progressed other than technology and even that perhaps would be even more amazing without constant government interference...just my humble opinion.
Distintive touch and stunning attraction.. Lovely attempt.

he didnt just paint 729 ordinary, mediocre paintings. he painted 729 EXTRAORDINARY paintings in such miniscule detail. They're all so realistic-looking. It's unbelievable to me that these paintings were created by the hand of a man, and not an angel or even God. and to think he made 729 OF THEM??? im just speechless
👏👏👏
Fabulous se-scapes
Todo un mundo de sueños, nafragios y soledades. Me da cierta tristeza y nostalgia. Pero creo que logra causar las sensaciones que quiere transmitir. Gracias
Amazing paintings.. especially love his moonlight paintings and those about İstanbul. By the way, anyone know name of the music or the artist? I can't find it. A really calming music.
Sorry for the question, but the music is beautiful, who is it? The paintings are beautiful too...
could you please share all the pictures you used ?
❤🌹👍

728 reasons to stay on dry land. GREAT painter, though !
С какой точки мастер смотрел на объект своего творчества? в частности, 7-9 минута ролика и прочие моменты катастроф.
Observing an Aunt all day long to see what they do... for example.
Beautiful but mannered and stilted
