IURI's NES Godzilla (FC ゴジラ) Creepypasta Game: Pathos (Biollante)
I checked the other side of the board to see the new monster. Instead of Hedorah, it was Biollante.
But that couldn’t have been right. “Godzilla vs Biollante” didn’t come out until 1989, and this game was made 1988. Perhaps Toho put Biollante in the game to build excitement for the movie next year, but changed their minds? I tried to rationalize the game’s abnormalities any way I could, but this would prove to be futile.
I was quite surprised that Biollante started the fight in her Rose Form. She was immobile and used tentacles to keep me away from the main body, which took the most damage.
As expected, she turned into her Final Form after taking enough damage. The sprite looked pretty damn good for 8-bit.
The battle technique was the same, except now Biollante could move, albeit slower than any other monster. Being hit by the tentacles did more damage now, and Biollante could do an acid spit, which I managed to avoid by jumping in the screencap.
Not much more difficult to beat than Titanosaurus, it only took two rounds.

This is too great! The acid spit on Goji is a great reference to the film everybody in their mother loves.

...he looks so fucking smooth, but also scarier (because HE'S ACTUALLY ANIMATED NOW).
Honestly this game has amazing potential. The sprites are really good even better than the ones that were in the screenshots of the original creepypasta. The little details like the level up bar are pretty cool too. Hope this doesn't get canceled tho.
When we get to Not-Hedorah, i hope Biollante's second phase will be it's theme
The second phase music sort of reminded me of Mega Man 7's true final boss theme. (Sorry if that gives some of you bad memories of how tough that boss was.)

@@theextremeanimator4721 Idk what I was exactly thinking about since that comment was written two months before. maybe it was two hammer bros in mario? or maybe Castlevania enemies? not sure. look at the video, when you far then she's doing Yoga Fire-like attack to force you to get closer to her, but when you do, then she's just wrecking you with whips. you have to get closer to him because it forces the situation, but when you do you can't just push over. probably that was the impression what I got.

If we go by how it plays out in the creepypasta, probably just holding right until the stage ends. But I'm completely unsure otherwise since IURI is adding some stuff that weren't in the story like a playable varan. Given that's probably where varan comes in maybe. Watching a demo vid of him in IURI's main channel shows him with a fast walking move. Which would really come in handy in the first run stage.
