Wonderful! I love how Janis actually held back a bit, to allow the younger people to really shine! She’s a real pro and one of my favorite singers of all time! ❤❤❤❤

Just heard this tonight. Great version of an old favorite of mine. Everyone was fine, including Mr. Carrillo (I played the tenor long ago - early 60s) and his solo was great. Janis Siegel was still on top of her game. Thanks!

I went to IU as a music major (vocal) many years ago. Wish I could have been in that group! Great rendition. Thanks!

Is that Steve Zegree? Miss him. Knew him from Gold Company days at Western Michigan. I knew he had moved on to IU prior to his untimely passing. In the 80's, Steve hosted Phil Mattson (twice that I attended) in week long summer vocal jazz/choral conducting workshops. Later, Steve took GC on the road and stopped to do a show (and stay overnight) at the high school I taught choir (Hazel Park, MI). Great memories. And, of course, Janis rocks. Have seen Manhattan Transfer many times, including just a few years back when they combined with Take 6.

Now come on Richard. Don't be so defensive. I met janis quite some time ago and always loved her singing. It was phenomenal. I was just surprised - that's all. But she's lovely. And actually, I'm writing a song with and for Cher with Bob Esty right now. So, I'm good.
