I knew this mv was going to be excellent, but I didn't expect it to move we all like this. The tenderness (almost innocence?) between them was so disarming. And then the hopelessness of it all... I was so immersed that I could feel their fear and despair.. V and IU's acting and chemistry are so excellent. I loved the fact that Taehyung was not the stereotypical fearless male lead. That man was terrified (he acted it so well!!) and that made everything, including his moment of bravery, feel even more real.😢

I’m so happy to see Daniel remembered Tae’s acting in Bon Voyage S1. It was really good. Also, Tae’s skit with Olivia Rodrigo on Grammys as well. Their chemistry was so good too. All of His acting moments are iconic for sure.

IU had the flu when she recorded the vocals for this... she was really unwell... Today she posted the behind the scenes of the recording on her channel... also, as a lot have already suggested.... and without spoilers, she posted the behind the scenes with Tae on her IUtv channel which is a longer version than the one that Bangtan TV posted... all three videos are well worth watching.... IUs concerts are nuts ... she is a solo artist and has been active since she debuted at 15... the staging of her concerts and her voice are wonderful... To top it off she's one of the most humble and kind people you'll ever come across... Also... anyone else get the 'Spring Day' reminder with the pile of clothes ?... I bawled before her first note hahaha....

11:50 Y'all might want to watch the behind the scenes of IU recording the song. You'll be amazed by her technical ability, given that she had the flu. They filmed the MV using the guide version - IU recorded the final version of the song a few days later, after getting sick from the video shoot.

11:58 IU's voice can go so high and it's so breathy!! And "fun" fact: they filmed the mv using the guide only and she recorded the song two days after, because she was sick so she postponed until she could, but she had to record sick and it came out so good still!!! She released the recording filming and she struggled so much but you can't even tell she was sick listening to it, she's amazing!!!

. V guested in IU’s show “Pallete” promoting his album Layover. They had a duet. They sang IU’s Ending Scene. So emotional, beautifully rendered.

IU also has a talk show like Suga. V, J-Hope and Suga have been on there, and IU herself has been on Suchwita. I'd recommend all 4 of those videos, they're very interesting and entertaining.

IU is a accomplished actress and Tae has an amazing acting ability their chemistry was out of this world I hope they do a drama together 🫶🏾

I'm just copy pasting an explaination I saw under another video: The Cube represents society, it is chasing every individual who doesn't fit the standards of society. Here V is half blind, IU is deaf and mute. So they are running from oppression of society. The world is controled by these standards of perfection to the point that people in the world put masks on when they don't have make-up or when they feel inssecure or they wear hats when their hair is messy. The MV is a dystopian view of our society. While they are trying to hide in this abondonned place filled with the clothes of people who died because of this oppression, they find a camera that allows them to have an illusion of what their lives could be if they were "normal" by society's standards, it starts with their looks, they could see how they would have looked like, then what they would eat, then they start to feel the illusion a bit too much to the point they beautifully imagine that IU could sing and V could sing as well and she could listen to his voice, they could marry each other and just have fun and eat whatever they want because they wouldn't have to care about society or any other kind of oppression. However, as soon as they feel a little bit of confort and try to live their life, the Cube (society) finds them again and push them to retreat and flee again, but the Cube managed to find them again, they try to survive against it and try to fight it as hard as they can, but they cannot beat a stronger system, they just give up but at least they stayed together until the end. Even if they died at the end, they loved each other deeply, it shows that even if society is oppressive, people can love each other and they can find their soulmate even if they are not "normal or perfect" to the eyes of some many others. The pile of clothes is like from Spring Day, these people died because of injustice, but they deserved love, so the pile of clothes can look very gloomy and sad, but as in Spring Day MV if you don't forget them you can seem them happy and free where they are right now...

She's been in several kdramas as an actress while being a singer. She's definetly one of the best female vocalists in the kpop industry. She also did a song with Suga i think 3 years ago called "Eight". One of the best songs i've heard

They have so many things in common as South Korean artists, both are honest, genuine with hearts. nobles very dedicated to their fans creating lasting impact on the music scene of their country I only hope that they collaborate more together in the future 💜 also during these collaborations a beautiful atmosphere has been created between the fandom of IU "UAENA” and Army maybe because we already learned how we both work for our artists 🥂

IU is amazing singer and the top female singer in Korea. She is also an amazing actress and has starred in so many Drama’s. She is dating a very popular Korean actor who is extremely handsome as well. She has done two songs with Suga which are also great. Taehyung has acted in one drama in 2017 but is keen to pursue at some stage. It was a beautiful MV it’s such a shame these do not seem to make the Grammy list because they are pure art.

The director did say viewers can have their own interpretation. The camcorder serves as a filter and allows imagination to roam freely. Everything is imagination through the camcorder. Reality resumes when you see their wounds and tattered clothes. In the end, the two of them are seen ascending to a better place through the camcorder, while they are eradicated in reality. So sad. So beautiful. So brutally real.

The ending part always makes me sob sm especially when she covered his eye so he wouldn’t have to see his final moments that I was gone 🥺😭

And on IU Palette with V confirmed it too, she said that she heard from various sources that he received lots of acting offers but he couldn't take them although he was grateful because he had to release his solo album first. But he said he will take on offers (after military) if opportunity comes up.

By the way, you might not have noticed this in the clip, but the character IU is deaf. She communicates with the Taehyung character using sign languages. At the end, when Taehyung falls from behind the cube and IU hugs him from behind, Taehyung takes IU's hand and she taps his shoulder three times, which means "I love you" in sign language. This makes the clip even more dramatic.

The song is beautiful and her voice is incredible and then the MV absolutely kills me, I cry everytime.

Guys you need to see the behind the scenes from IU's channel and bangtan tv. Tae was really singing to her during that wedding scene and its beautiful 😭. Also they ran almost 7 hrs and filmed in v harsh conditions u need to check it out.

IU is a real celebrity, she has been the queen of kpop for a long time and she is very well known in the industry, everyone loves her. Her works are always amazing, being acting (she is also an actress) or singing. ARMYs love her partnership and friendship with BTS: she is a "same age friend" of Suga and appeared on Suchwita; she collaborated with Suga for the songs "Eight" and "People pt2"; Suga, Hobi and V appeared on IU's Palette; she has been Jungkook's idol for a long time...their interactions are amazing. Edit: it would be cool if you reacted to her episode on Suchwita (after the bts episodes of course)

It's also sadder when Iu finally presses V's shoulder three times to tell him that she loves him as he tries to hold her hand 😭😭😭

Such a beautiful and emotional video featuring amazing acting and vocals that makes the experience so personal. I really do hope that Tae & IU do other projects together both film and music as they have great chemistry and when he was on her show their voices also blended so well. Also at the end it was pointed out by someone that he can hear what is coming but she can't, while she can see what is coming but she covers his good eye so he can't. Both cry at the same moment though and from the same left eye. Also the right side of his face seems to have burn scars so maybe he had encountered a cube before but got away at the last minute. This cube was relentless in its pursuit and even seemed to change size so it could come into the building. Earlier when it was flying overhead you could tell no way it could fit inside those hallways. I also noticed the cube waits for them to stop fighting and accept their fate. If you notice there are no other people so obviously no person is able to meet the criteria this cube holds that would allow someone to survive. The camcorder that kept showing a better reality, was giving us the viewer a happier version of the events. They both rise in the air together, their bodies still solid, while the reality is that they have been turned to ash. At the top of the camcorder right before it turns off you see ash particles in the air. I also loved how the clothes landed together on the pile. Again all of this symbolizing that even though they seemingly lost to the cube, it couldn't destroy their love for each other. They stayed together in life and death, so indeed their love did win. I can't get enough of this MV, the acting is Oscar level and combined with the award worthy vocals and lyrics it's both heartbreaking but also heartwarming that at least they went together.

to koreans IU is like if Beyonce and Taylor swift had a child. they just LOVE her
