through the night is a legendary song maybe her 2nd most legendary after Good Day, its like national lullaby of South Korea. There are so many actors and singers covering this song since 2017 ...

As I already said every live performance of this song is beautiful but mma award show 2017 live performance is something else. You should react to it too or atleast watch it for once it is heaven to eyes and ears.

IU is a Poet.

Song’s meaning is also beautiful… she is known to suffer from insomnia, and she has said that it is hard not to be upset in middle of night when others are asleep, and she is still awake. When she fell in love with someone, though, and wanted to reach out to that person at such a time - she realized that she wants more for that person to sleep well…so she sends a firefly to protect the window outside the person’s room, as an expression of her love. It’s just such a beautiful song (amongst so many from her)
