It may be a little disappointing for a fan, even for an idol I guess but it totally makes sense since it’s a matter of safety. It’s the smart thing to do. Yuna showed appreciation for the gesture though and she was very sweet about it.

In hindsight after all of the BS that has been going on with gifts and them being tampered with I wouldn't allow the girls to receive any gifts either. It's for their own safety and the fanatics getting mad is a small price to pay in exchange for the girls being safe at the end of the day.

@Sergote12 There's a lot of stories you can Google yourself but there have been instances where "fanatics" have been tampering with gifts intended for idols. I remember reading a story about an idol that drank glue in a beverage but cannot remember which idol it was I think it was a male idol. There have also been gifts that contain hidden cameras and food that has been tampered with to make the idols sick. There was even a story about a sasaeng that sent male idols letter written in period blood. Shit is crazy I gotta look everything up again and see if I can find the links to each individual story.

@Sergote12 Sorry for the extremely late reply but I have notifications muted. There have been instances where an idol drank glue due to a tampered drink and then there's the infamous case of some sasaeng sending a letter written in menstrual blood to an idol giving threatening "instructions" to not see other idols or girls because the original sender would get mad and kill them or some shit. It has been years since this happened but it is just the tip of the iceberg for now. Sasaengs are crazy!
