THE FIRST TAKE is a KZread Channel dedicated to filming musicians and singers performing in a single take.
Episode 375 welcomes back the global girls group ITZY, who swept the rookie awards with their overwhelming charisma and performance after their debut in Korea in 2019. They will perform the title track "RINGO" from their 1st Japan album released in October.
This song, conveying the message "we can change fate", showcases ITZY's distinctive strength. Enjoy the one-shot performance featuring a special band arrangement, exclusively for THE FIRST TAKE.

I can't get enough of listening to this version, the rhythm is so danceable. There's no denying that Yeji's voice is on another level, she ate the bridge, it's completely hers...Yeji's vocal is so underrated.

@@Lucas-jw4fymaybe the best no, but she being the lead vocalist in this comeback didn’t receive almost any vocal parts, they were all given to chaer, even when chaer is the 4th or even the 5th member in itzy when we compare technic, she strained SO SO much all the high notes they gave her, + if we can see in the video they post singing untouchable in live, chaer detune when the bridge arrive, the rest of the song she detune all the way, but people don’t understand she can’t hit them well, and they still give her high notes.

Charyeong's vocals is so underrated, she's hitting those high notes like a piece of cake and matching her voice to compliment the member's vocals as well

歌詞とか見てるのかもしれなけど、異国語で（しかも日本人メンバーいなくて）、ここまで早口で、楽しそうに、バンドに合わせて歌うってだいぶ高度なことしてるよね。。。凄すぎる

With Lia it would even be more amazing. I love Itzy, but clearly they lack that main vocal support. Wish Lia would comeback soon, and it will be a stronger Itzy!

What are your credentials to say they "lack main vocal support" are you a vocal trainer? or an expert on singing? perhaps you are a music producer? Anything at all that would make you qualifed to make such a silly and misinformed comment? Or are you just a fan of "that group" who stalks ITZY videos to through shade.

@@tae5yo I said her voice was beautiful. This may vary from person to person. Having said that, I think her voice is amazing and I can comment on that. I didn't comment on her vocal tier. I am aware that the tier is F+ and that this tier is not good. But I don't think this has anything to do with me saying her voice is beautiful.

@@tae5yo Also, Chaeryeong is a sub vocalist in a group whose weakness is vocals. Considering that even the main vocal is E+/D-, Chaeryeong's F+ tier sounds normal. Since there is no Lia in this comeback, it would make more sense to give the high note parts to Yeji, who has the second best tier. But unfortunately, Chaeryeong took these parts that were challenging for Chaeryeong. So please don't go after her.
Chaeryeong is so darn cute here! She seems to be so relaxed and happy and enjoying herself. The band sounds terrific, the vocals sound fresh, and the sound balance on the video is fantastic, really bringing out all the satisfying nuances - I'm surprised by all the moments brought out in this performance. Well done, sound engineers, band, Itzy, and all!

びっくりしたのは歌唱力はもちろんなんだけどみんな「つ」の発音がめちゃくちゃ上手い。 日本人メンバーいない中これだけ聞き取りやすいのはITZYの努力のたまもの😢

Agreed, her aggressive voice adlibs (idk how to put it best but I'm referring to the growls) really take Ringo to the next level. Like it just HITS. Not to mention her high notes and falsetto. ITZY's ACE+leader really shows us how she's improving every day.

K-popグルが出してくれる日本語曲の中で一番好き
Their live voices are so powerful, especially yeji and chae. But ryujin really took me by surpirse, her deep voice and high notes are enchanting and gorgeous. I'm glad she had a chance to show off her skills. Yuna too, her voice is perfect for all the precise and catchy adlibs and rap parts in this song. I hope Lia's doing okay and is getting as much rest as she can.
