Yeji and Ryujin looked AMAZING, but it’s so very unfair for Chaeryeong, Yuna, and Lia to not be in an ITZY album spoiler. It’s not a Yeji and Ryujin unit debut. Not to mention, Chaeryeong is the main dancer (with Yeji) and still hasn’t had a dance break, and now isn’t in a dance album spoiler. If I was in a group and my company said “you won’t be in the album spoiler for your own album” I’d feel useless and un-wanted.

The fact that CAKE would have instantly become a hit even before its release if it was from a different group, is something that I also thought about when I read the negative comments. It seems to me that people are never satisfied. MITM was such a different concept compared to their previous releases (epic, catchy, darker), yet it still got hate. Then they brightened up the mood with Loco, Sneakers, Boys Like You and Cheshire and, all of them were judged harshly for different reasons. Now people already talk bad about Kill My Doubt, it’s like they don’t want to like anything ITZY do. What is happening to them is simply unfair, at this point they have become the punching bag for everyone to hate on and nothing seems to be good enough for the fans and general listeners. I love ITZY though and I will support them because I think they’re very cool and deserve better than this ❤️

MiTM was quite the departure from the prior music. In retrospect, it was a brilliant production and really a cut above most of the contemporary releases. What I really like is how they have resisted the urge to go full-on "Queendom" style, and instead stick to their more wholesome message of "being yourself" (with the usual ITZY flair). This could be where the undeserved hate comes from. Some maybe expecting ITZY to do the standard "femme fatale" concept, and get disappointed when they stick to the ITZY thing of being champions for the people ("Keep your chin up, we've got your back"). They are my NUMBER ONE and will always be. Sure, there are lots of other great KPop groups, but ITZY really is special.

This is the ultimate fact. Nothing divides the kpop community for girl groups as much as ITZY comebacks. Everyone has something to critique about it. I agree that if another group released Cake, people would be fangirling over it or give it higher praises. The reason it gets hate is only because ITZY released it. Is it because of the girls, of course not, they maximize any concept they’re given. The reason people have such strong opinions about every ITZY comeback is because of how great Wannabe was and how ITZY ushered in the hope of a new 4th gen. People end up wanting them to replicate Wannabe every time they make a comeback, and if it doesn’t meet wannabe’s level, they feel dissatisfied immediately. Everyone thought that ITZY was the ultimate 4th gen leader and it would be because they would deliver Wannabe level comebacks each time. That’s both unrealistic and redundant. Wannabe level gems are very hard to come by. It’s got 500M views as of now, i don’t even think Newjeans will ever reach that. Only Blackpink and Twice are on that level for such high charting releases. The hate is all rooted in unrealistically high expectations plus the fact that JYP has chosen concepts that deviate from people’s expectations. Is it right from JYP to do so? Maybe, maybe not. Is it right for people to expect a certain way? Maybe, maybe not. Face it, ITZY has chosen not to pursue the rinse and repeat strategy of replicating Wannabe. Does that mean that a deviation from Wannabe concepts is automatically bad? No. If you think it automatically is, then you’re the problem.

The Ryeji album spoiler was amazing and has received a ton of love.

I will not be suprised if they don’t renew contracts. Also, I imagine if they would pursue solo as their next path but honestly, even I don’t know what future they have for them because Division 2 doesn’t really give them chance to shine elsewhere.

I'm also surprised that ITZY doesn't do the live singing dance practice anymore (NMIXX now does it for every comeback) and they could of done that for the two MV B-sides that have come out. I would love to see the dance and them redoing what they used to do

JYP is setting ITZY up to lose the battle of 4th gen ggs, I can def see Midzys jumping ship to Lesserafim because of this.

They just finished a tour last April. Did kcon LA and Japan and was invited to kcon Thailand. Then making a comeback. Not to mention a successful run of university festivals. They have been busy. Maybe it's your brain that's lacking. 😂

Ur right they have been busy. No one is saying otherwise. But managing doesn't only mean to give them concerts and comebacks. Promotion is a big flow of the company. I don't wanna repeat myself but I've stated why I think so in a couple of videos

@@yejisschocolate still by idol activity they are not failing. It's a job and they are still earning at the half top of 4th gen girl groups. They are still getting invites to shows by organizers. Also, the album is in pre-release. The video posted on YT is a promotion in itself. They can't go to shows yet and make a full promotion until the album is officially released. Content creators like you talk about it meaning it's been going around and being promoted. Remember whether its good or bad publicity it is still publicity. 😂

JYP isn't managing them. It's unfair to put the blame on him, when he resigned as CEO in 2011. The ones managing ITZY is division 2 of JYPe, not JYP himself.

Hate me or love me but they should disband already if their treatment is like this. As a Midzy fan from the beginning up to “Not Shy” era, I know that treatment will go this way badly. Creative freedom is their one way ricket to redeem themselves as their group but they look so restricted compared to other groups. (I’m talking about other gg interactions to other gg).

YK it's bad when under the ablum teaser video, everyone was asking why the main dancer wasn't there when she is the main dancer. It legit doesn't make sense for the to promote only 2 members, they should of done what NMIXX did (They did an album spoiler but they sang acapella) but dancing to the instrumentals + hearing their foot steps so you can feel a bit hyped. Their marketing team is completely shit

Everything you said is what I’ve been thinking, I simply don’t get WHY... the things we ask for are such bare minimum things that don’t require massive effort. Including all 5 members in the Album Spoiler is a given, adding subs on the documentary as it airs is a no brainer, posting on all their socials as well... it’s like they want the girls to fail because I cannot come up with any other logical explanation as to why simple tasks that don’t ask much of them but that represent a lot for the fans and general public are not being done. Not to sound morbid but is this intentional? Are they seriously setting the girls up for failure to have a ‘reason’ to disband them in a few years? I don’t want to think like this but the lack of reasonable answers for what’s going on makes me wonder. If that happens I pray and hope the girls stay united and continue elsewhere because they seriously could, they have a massive & loyal fandom.

Actually Midzy is one of the rare fandoms that has no solo stans in it, if you think about it, if we are mad it is because not all of the girls showed up in the spoiler. Midzy has no hate for itzy even if a song is disappointing we still would support them.

I adore our fandom and it's such a comfort place for me. But particularly abt the spoiler I saw some solo stans who were so mad abt div2s decision to only include 2 members, that they started disrespecting yeji and ryujin. Thankfully that's not the majority of the fandom but I still felt sad when I saw such comments

to me as a casual listener since their debut, the only problem is with the music and concept... its not like i don't know about their comebacks, its that everytime they have a release (after wannabe), i listen to them and its just not what i was hoping for, so i simply skip and wait for the next comeback... and they have been doing that for the past 1-2 years so im not even interested in them now. I remember when Dalla Dalla came out i was obsessed with everything, down to the stage outfits. They were truly leading the 4th gen game. This is just sad to watch but it seems like management is just incompetent at this point. they even managed to make NMIXX tank... my fav grps were from JYP - wonder girsl, Miss A (hardcore stan), twice (one of the best discography), whatever is happening now they need to change

For me personally, I enjoy every song of theirs so far but I also understand ppl like u who lost interest after the concept 'alternation' should I say. jype and the toxic fans are the only reason why itzy is flopping!! itzy has so much potential but they're not getting the right promo. it's okay for groups to have a flop! the way midzys say that their success went downhill after sneakers is a lie, because y'all (midzys) gave up on them after sneakers. sneakers is still a bop imo (except for the chorus). Cheshire was also very iconic (the la la la's are still stuck in my head) but no one supported itzy because of the sudden change of concept which is kinda understandable but also it doesn't make sense. like imagine going from loco to sneakers, such a downgrade. but cheshire and bet on me are flopping/flopped because the fandom has given up on them. it wouldn't be a surprise if they don't renew their contract in the future the way they're getting treated. also i saw you channel from tessie's insta story and you've spoke facts hun!!!!! im a new subscriber xx 😍❤️❤️

Feel sad for Itzy, i follow them from the start They already 4years old, but havent reach their full potential This last 1 year it become so bland and dull It just feels like they've been abandoned by the creative team & company itself, like a girl group that already on their 6-7th years and the company want to focus on new groups. When a group have a comeback, it should be a grande with maximum efforts & lots of promos, look at other group's comeback This is what JYPE always did, minimum promos, and then relies hard on their loyal fandom

None of my business was good but boring. And cake sounds irritating from what I get from the spoiler . I'm just waiting for their album to release. The division responsible for itzy is literally ruining itzy. They can't seem to give a perfect concept for our girls. Itzy's concepts are so jumbled which makes it hard for fans to grasp it. Itzy is already a 4 year old group but seens they are still not able to find their rythm

Ugh I’m 4 months older than yuna but feel like I’ve outgrown their music. I’ve always been a casual listener of itzy, but only enjoy their earlier music. In my opinion, their quality has digressed and their production isn’t comparable to the later 4th gen girl groups. Why don’t they have any longevity? Twice was dropping bangers years after their debut …

The fact you guys are making these videos with said titles and thumbnails before the song/album drops and when the girls themselves said they hope Midzy like it and wish they would prioritize that over charting this time... like who needs antis when the fandom is so dumb and recklessly loud in the worst ways. It's like you wanna defend Itzy's honor without thinking about they feel and prioritizing what you feel first. All premature too.
