If she does a surprise appearance I hope its at the Toronto ones, since she lived there for a few years and has some family there, but totally understand if not too. There will always be more opportunities in the future. Just aslong as she comes back healthy and happy😊

@@Riack Lia's angelic, soulful, smooth vocals is what makes ITZY unique sounding for me. Lia's cute, beautiful, elegant looks is what makes me love ITZY even more. Lia's kind, caring, wonderful, and funny personality is what made me a MIDZY. Lia is the glue that bonds ITZY together so tightly. Her absence in ITZY is such a big void that needs to be filled asap. ITZY is not the same with any member missing, but in particular Lia because she brings so much to the group. Hope Lia recovers fully and returns healthy, full of vigor and renewed spirit.

It's gonna happen whenever a member is on hiatus for a while. We're getting the same thing with Moon Sua and Suhyeon in Billlie; Suhyeon's been out since June, and Sua since September. But they're very much not ignored; Haram called them out when they won an award recently, Sheon addressed them directly in a video where they chatted about their comeback, and both Sua and Suhyeon have posted on Weverse a couple of times in the meantime; there's no hint of them _not_ coming back. In both cases, I'm glad that Itzy and Billlie are showing love to their missing members, and their companies are just allowing them the time they need to get better. We need more of this. 🥰

I don't think I've seen any actual rumors about it. I think it's just people commenting that she can and should choose what she feels is best for her. I hope she comes back because she's my bias in the group, but I don't know what she's going through and wouldn't assume to know what she wants to do.

Hoping that Lia will participate in ITZY's activities little by little until she can really comeback like Twice Mina and Jeongyeon did when they take their hiatus

Jeongyeon didn’t come back little by little, she left little by little, with participating with her hurting neck, then sitting out, and not performing at all and suddenly she came back and headed to the States to finish their American leg while sitting out the one in SK(&JP). Both of them still participated in albums recording, while Lia is completely out.

Bruh she's definitely coming back 1. She opened her Instagram account 2. Yeji in their showcase mentioned they'll record it all again with lia i am pretty sure the next comeback it'll be their 2nd full album which includes Untouchable "ITZY ver" etc all songs 3. Ryujin in her first post added a caption "5 with 5" clearly telling us itzy will remain 5 4. Lia's TWINZY character if she isn't coming back they wouldn't have made a lia ver and also they wouldn't let her creat an account in the name of itzy too 😊 BTW the next comeback will be just like their "crazy in love album" it was a full album with instrumentals of their previous Title tracks just like that they'll add ITZY OT5 ver of songs in the album. Crazy in love was released during second half of 2021 too so there's a high probability of the next comeback being a 2nd full lenth album

The sad thing is, they can't show that they're sad or missing Lia. They have to always try to put on a happy face and remain positive, pushing on with their busy schedule and keep fulfilling their obligations. You can tell ITZY is not as goofy, as happy, or enjoying themselves as much, without a happy Lia there with them. But the show must go on.

I want her to rest until she's feeling 120% ready to jump back into it. but I also low-key worry about the sheer amount of choreo she needs to pick up the longer she's away.

The new choreo is what makes it unrealistic to expect Lia to return before ITZY's 2nd world ends. It takes a lot of practices as group to get them down perfectly and in sync. Even though everyone is hoping Lia will return during the tour, it's just not an option. Let's hope she's healthy in August or September of 2024, giving her a whole year to fully recover properly.

@@Gambit33 oh anyone who thought that she was gonna come back for this tour is crazy. The four has been singing/dancing the new tracks with 4 part vocals and formation and they would have to learn new arrangements for OT5 and JYPE/Itzy has working this entire comeback and tour with only 4 members since at least early fall. Rearranging Born to Be for another main singer/dancer would be a crazy amount of work. The next comeback is probably a good point to come back in... but if she's out much longer than a year that's a lot of learning that she would have to do... Not that I don't think she's capable of it, but the last thing we should want is for her to come back and get stressed out all over again because she's got to speed learn too much.

i think for most of the choreo from their new album, they do have a few parts where it looks like its made for 5 people if that makes sense. But yeah, unless she rehearsed with them a few times behind the scenes for tour, its sadly unlikely. BUT, there is a couple of weeks until they leave for there other stops, so she may comeback then

Lia didn't leave the group! She's currently on hiatus (a break from the group due to personal reasons). She is experiencing anxiety and isn't participating in group activities because of that, but we hope she feels better soon and comes back to itzy and midzy!

Don't give us copium 🤣 Yeji is such a great leader. She knows that Lia cares deeply for ITZY and MIDZYs, so she always tries her best to include Lia in everything they do. You only showed Ryujin holding up Li-Li (Lia's plushie) but Yeji also held up Li-Li and put an imaginary mic to Li-Li mouth during Lia's part of the song. Yeji has been posting a few Lia or Lia-related pics on her Instagram account too, reminding MIDZYs that Lia will always be part of ITZY. ☺ OT5 forever!

According to JYP's announcement, when Lia officially went on hiatus, she will not be participating in the Born to be album or their tour this year. Hence as to why there's no space left in the choreography for a 5th person. Prior to that announcement, they were performing all their songs as if she were present.
