I agree with you, but I also think that she wanted to make Lia proud of her for their progress, hence the nervousness.

The reason I like watching K-pop idols interviewed here is because Zach really respects everyone, gives them time to answer however they feel comfortable and doesn’t make it weird when they have difficulty explaining what they want. Also regardless of how well they can speak English, he acknowledges everyone and asks interesting questions because he’s done proper research. ITZY always work so hard and seeing them live was a privilege! Thank you for this interview, it was a very nice surprise ❤️

i wish that there were more interviews like this that actually talks about the process, the difficulties, and the meaning of their album and questions that literally have sense and not just the shallow questions mostly asked by interviewers

Also agreed, but he tends to use too many American sayings intrinsic to his way of speaking...things that may throw a foreigner. There were moments they looked blank, and I'm sure it wasn't their fault.

So awesome that their English has come such a long way that they’re able to do in-depth interviews like this. Even if they can’t find the words, their understanding is great. You can see the constant practice with Lia helped alot. Thanks for having them and for this great interview!

It's times like these that I really miss Lia. She would normally of course take the lead in interviews like this. But RyuJin absolutely did a good job taking the lead this time. You can see that she has really worked hard and improved a lot with her english.

When Yuna speaks, everything gets soothed. Her voice is soothing

Ryujin, I hope your dream of becoming an actor comes true soon because I want to see you on TV or Netflix🙏🏻🥹 (I will always support you)

Ryujin’s English improved SO MUCH & I’m genuinely so proud of her 🥹

How Ryujin described it (in english at that) so interestingly is that being members is an entirely different relationship from anything else people may experience in life. Neither friend or family, just members!

I appreciate how welcoming Zach is, he makes every guest feel comfortable and special. He doesn't make them feel bad for speaking another language instead he is actually trying to understand. lots of love. Edit: I forgot to mention Dan! He is also an amazing co-host. He shows interest in what the guests say and he always points out interesting stuff about each artists work!

Ryu’s English accent is so nice to listen, it’s so sooting. She’s gotten really good at English since she’s filling in for Lia as the designated English speaker while he’s on hiatus. All of their English has really improved. They’re doing so well, my babies ❤

I do love Ryujin’s way of thinking about her song! As she explained, it is not easy to let someone/something go not only in terms of relationships. Ryujin is really smart and she has deep thoughts like philosophers! Ryujin, you are such a beautiful person!

itzy has come through so many challenges and achievements in their life but they never fail to amaze me with their humbleness

I love itzy so much. I also see how much the girls become so conscious of how they have been under so much scrutiny that when they receive compliments you can see genuine surprise in their reactions.

I just got back home from their concert in fairfax VA usa. And it was awesome! Yes as he said here "itzy is a big deal"!

You know the interview is unique and has depth when most of the members are forced to answer in depth in Korean. Kudos to Ryujin for taking the mantle of the main English speaker while Lia is away, and I also appreciate that the show has translators so the members can answer the questions truthfully and comfortably.

Damn, their English has improved a lot, last time I paid attention to Itzy, I remember Lia hard-carrying international interviews.

I'm so happy for them. And I'm grateful for this wonderful interview. We've been waiting for this for a long time to ask interesting, in-depth questions. The main ideas and concept of their songs were revealed. I'm really glad they asked about Lia's solo song! Also the mention of Lia from Ryujin made me very happy.

Although Lia isn't here for a quite hiatus due to her health problems, they doesn't have a member who can speak English to interview with the other American hosts, but thanks to ryujin. She's quite Good 😊
