Itzhak Perlman (Hebrew: יצחק פרלמן; born August 31, 1945) is an Israeli-American violin virtuoso, conductor, and master-instructor. He is widely considered to be one of the preeminent violin virtuosi of the 20th century.
Perlman was born in Tel Aviv, British Palestine, where he first became interested in the violin after hearing a classical music performance on the radio. He studied at the Academy of Music in Tel Aviv before moving to the United States to study at the Juilliard School with the great violin pedagogue, Ivan Galamian, and his assistant Dorothy DeLay.
Perlman contracted polio at the age of four. He made a good recovery, learning to walk with the use of crutches. Today, he generally uses crutches or an electric scooter for mobility and plays the violin while seated.

He was going so fast the video couldn't keep up with him! Very impressive :)

The pianist is the outstanding accompanist Samuel Sanders, by the way.

What about Heifetz?
Is it just my comp or is the sound quality squeaky.

Practice
this is fire
Only Mr.Perlman could play such full chords at the frog and up bow
Sarasate meant for this piece to be fast, maybe even faster than this, so if anything, Perlman was doing a good job interpreting this piece.
Great
Fabulous!

Czy jest poza Perlmanem inny wykonawca który tak fantastycznie grałby utwory Sarasatego?

Do not worry about your English. The meaning is perfect. Only music can touch nervous systems. (Not my quote)

David Dyer You win the dumbass of the year award. Congratulations. 🎆
While I do think Mr. Perlman is an excellent preformer, I felt like he played this peice with no compassion. The beggining felt way to quick and at times I felt like he played not because he wanted to, but because he had to.
