So I rewatched Sonic 2, and in the part where Sonic and Knuckles fought on that mountain, after Tails was knocked unconscious and Sonic kept telling him to wake up, when that avalanche started, I could hear Godzilla's footstep noise from the 2014 film. (The infamous footstep sound effect Goji makes when he encounters the Male MUTO at the airport) If you listen closely, you'll hear it! Turns out Sega is into the Monsterverse. 🤩🤩🤩
