I have watched Sanditon 2-3 times now...and I am so taken with the overall quality of acting...I adored the ensemble effort and outcome! But I am most impressed with the range and subtleties of Leo Suter's portrayal of Young Stringer... Watch his scenes with his Father B4 the ball...and his scene with Charlotte after his father's death... Bravo, Leo!... Beautiful work... Your recent acting awards (over the last 2-3 yrs) are well-deserved. No doubt the beginning of more to come...I anticipate no less from Rose, Theo, etc...

Whatever happens I don't want the character of Charlotte choosing anyone in the show for other reasons except for love. Hoping on Season #2, there is a reason for Charlotte to go to London, meet other people and for Sidney to come to his senses #Sanditonseason2

@@Famous5821 I totally agree. I do not want money or convenience or anything other than A TRUE, HIGHER Love to triumph. In this God-forsaken world, when so much is cheapened by greed or lust, can we not have something pure and fine, something of true merit OVERCOME all obstacles in the end? I look to literature to inspire this... And it is all the more needed in today's world.

@@debrahouston2884 Money, convenience, greed, and lust are bad enough but it's untrustworthiness & betrayal revealed that can damage a soul to its very core. But this is essentially a Jane Austen production. Has there ever been a story of hers where the heroine didn't get her man through true love, resulting in a life of happiness? So just take a deep breath, relax your concerns, and prepare yourself for a beautiful inevitable.

Young Stringer (actor: Leo Suter...to Left of Rise here) def'ly LOVES & VALUES Charlotte, so he may get my vote...bc Sydney is turning out 2b a weak man...not following his Heart & Higher Self! Sydney is a fool...He will be miserable w/that other woman... He does not love her, nor does she truly love him.

@@debrahouston2884 Sydney is doing it for his family. However, if he & smart Lotte would put their heads, they would find a way. I was annoyed he would ride out as she’s leaving to ask her “not to think bad of me.” Whattt!? You jerk...just leave the poor child alone!

A shout out for Chris Marshall. I've enjoyed his other lighthearted & comic roles! As Tom Parker he is serious.

Totally enjoyed it. Yes, i want a second season too, but from someone who has not read Jane Austen, or watched but a few oF these period adaptations, I totally loved the show and I loved the whole cast.

You should definitely check him out in Victoria and Beecham House as well - he's wonderful in both, as usual, though playing complete opposite characters!

Love the show! But needs a proper ending. Please bring it back to tie up loose ends and reunite Sidlotte!!

I've just seen the last episode of Sanditon ,and l believe it's a fascinating show with all the ingredients of a successful tv drama: costumes,intrigue ,beautiful scenery and astounding landscapes.Moreover it takes us back to a rich and interesting period in the English history ( the Regency era with its Austenian flavour) not forgetting the cast who ,actually performed a great job ,especially Miss Rose Williams who gives her character a deep touch of humanity and smoothness which lights up the flow of events taking her from raw innocence to a wise outlook on life and people even if there's a sense of unfinished ness to the story ,making us viewers eager for another part that will put more light on Charlotte's future life .A job well done in general thank you.

Such a pity Charlotte was not wearing her hair up according to the time period. No wonder Sidney thought she was a maid. A least that’s authentic. Still I enjoyed it and also I was rather disappointed by the way things ended indeed. 🌱💚☮️🇳🇱

I've read and heard that her character is free spirited and so they decided to have her hair down for most casual scenes, except at the ball.

The interviewer is sometimes difficult to understand. Turned on the closed captioning and the errors added a whole new layer of comedy to the interview.

Very difficult to hear the voices

Is that== really how the book ending was interpreted? Or is this a funding problem.

That interviewer runs on and on and can’t understand a word he says. In fact everyone appears to be speaking in another language besides English.

The interviewer talks way too much...

I couldn't hear what the interviewer was saying, very annoying. I hope Sanditon is finished properly and not half done like it currently is. An unfinished novel has turned into an unfinished show.

Tom was a fool. Everyone had to cover up for his poor judgment & lack of business knowledge. I hope there's a Season 2 without Tom!

IDK! XD In the end of the video of Leo taking over the PBS Insta account, Rose came up behind him and it was so cute and sweet. I ship both their characters in Sanditon, and them!

The script is rubbish! But the cast is good & Rose is tremendous.
