I am definitely looking forward to seeing the new mutant mayhem party wagon and the 4 turtles to fit inside it. I made a trip across the border and found all the new neca mirage and cartoon TMNT releases except I forgot about the big swamp Napoleon figure as the Target lady was grabbing stuff out of the back for me. Apparently the NECA reps can’t be bothered to put out their own product.

Thanks for the shout out. I'm diggin' that TMNT 4 pack. Looks like Jim Lawson's artwork, I think. For comics, I just finished reading Jeremy Adam's run on The Flash. Awesome work. Reminds me of Mark Waid's and Geoff Johns' runs with Wally West. Also, I'm just getting in to Mark Millar's comics. The Ambassadors was awesome!

Awesome haul man! I'm not a big Mafex collector (only cause of the price) but I had to get that Magneto since he's so classic looking and Magneto is my favorite Marvel character, maybe even my favorite villain of any property... I haven't seen anything new at my local stores in quite a while, especially Walmart, same old stuff for months it seems. Actually one Walmart seemed to have just put out a bunch of old figures from like over a year ago, craziness.

Be careful with Mafex!!! One figure turns into 10 figures. Haha. Nice pickup though, Magneto is def a Top 10 villain from comic books overall for me as well.

@@ManCaveCollectibleReviews So far the ONLY Mafex figures I have are Magneto and before that Cyborg Superman. I preordered the Nightwing but then canceled it, I have plenty of Nightwing figures, ugh adulting is hard!

Really want the Neca TMNT 4pk, on the fence with the mutant mayhem stuff though. Very cool in person. Had them in hand at toysrus, just couldn’t do it.

I actually compared the art style of it to Spiderverse also today when talking to someone about it.

I'm being selective now with the lines I'd start to collect..I;m more now into nostalgic figures, like Silver Hawk & Gargoyles..but I'd still definitely get that new TMNT playset. I missed the NECA, so would be getting this new one.

From what I hear, they will hit other retailers after a 2 month Target exclusivity period. So keep hunting. There’s hope even if you don’t find at Target.

I really want that Iron Factory Spirits of the DEC(DJD) group as well. Do you have the other figures(MIzar, Phecda, etc.)? Also, are you going to display them separately or put them in the combiner mode? I love me some 3rd party Transformers. Just picked up the MMC Carnifex, and good lord is that a beautiful figure.

Speaking of the DJD, _James Robert's- Transformers More than Meets the Eye_ #MustRead is one of thee single Best Comic runs of all time !! Where *the crew of Bots, lead by Rodimus are Lost in Space;* searching for "The Knights of Cybertron". And All their adventures, stories & inner monologs & inner drama. Who would of thought that anyone could give Transformers such deep personalities! Man Cave- "Man Bun" (Yup, We all miss it) here's my recommended Transformers IDW Comics list. Ready ........ > You could start all the way back w/ MtMtE 1, or do what I did. Which was start w/ the _Dark Cybertron_ x-over. _________ That all begins w/ an Epic one-shot / Pt.1 ((where the DC Infinite Crisis artist does the illustrations)), its the Story of SHOCKWAVE's Quest for Supremacy. & the saga goes back & forth between Transformers: _More than Meets the Eye_ 23-27 (pt. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) & Transformers: _Robots in Disguise_ (pt. 3, 5, 7, 9, 11). Im assuming today on Amazon you can find the tpb. that collects all the parts, So ya don't have to buy all the individual comics like I did. Now, After _Dark Cybertron,_ I just kept reading the _More than Meets the Eye_ series by Roberts.. Some of them trades- after #27, used to be harder to find. BUT YA GOTTA KEEP READING THE SERIES, IT GETS BETTER & BETTER after the _The Dawn of the Autobots_ storyline (28-33) anyway.. Its MtMtE 34 & there is this Epic Ultra Magnus Variant cvr w/ A White Background #ChefsKiss its so Good I framed that ish (34). %- ) Than as you keep reading MtMtE 34 & 35+, This Group of bots _(Rodimus, Magnus, Whirl, Nightbeat, Brainstorm, Cyclonus, Tailgate, Swerve)_ are all Lost in Space together & Its UNREAL! There's A bit where they do Megatron's Origin (He tells it via flashbacks) before he was the King of the Deceptions. An its interesting to say the least. Anyhow, Than the DJD show up & fight w/ Megs. Than A couple comics later- ya later enter _The Scavengers_ (w/ Misfire, Kronk, Spinster & there good friends w/ Grimlock), they're the Best & Funniest rag-tag group of ostracized Deceptions. Some of the Funniest comics you'll ever read. The Drama & Adventure, will make it hard to stop reading, once your in on the stories. & After _More than Meets the Eye_ ends, somewhere around ish 55... The series is than relaunched as _Transformers LOST LIGHT_ (Named after the Ship/ also its where Purple colored MP Rodimus figures comes from) & this follow-up _Lost Light_ series -- that patches in all the MtMtE holes -- ends around #23-25 ?? > All Leading to the Final War, _Transformers UNICRON 0-6._ As IDW's License was set to expire on the Transformers property.

So it’s interesting you bring this up! I’ve read this story arc twice and currently doing a complete read of the entire IDW Transformers run from start to finish. I’m still in phase 1 but almost to phase 2.

At least that's my opinion,, Thus why I stopped reading [it] for a while & resumed Years later w/ the _Dark Cybertron_ x-over.. > But Nothing Transformers anyway, comes close too _Robert's More than Meets the Eye_ comics (DJD & SCAVENGERS stuff) & obviously _Roberts_ limited _Lost Light_ 20+ ish follow-up series w/ the new steady artist. Where everything w/ "The Knights of Cybertron" is concluded (the time-loop "Deja Vu comics" in there w/ Nightbeat during his Coup, I remember being Brilliant). And I'm kind of Hesitant to get the UNICRON tpb. IDW Finale, because I've heard its nothing great. So it's gonna have to wait for that _Half price books / Ollies_ $7 price tag, before I finally, get that one.
