Hiya Mark n Ms Buttercup, Sooty and Maggie Good work as always Council needs to bring water filled IBC 's for allotmenteers to use till they fix their stuff up, and also need to refund due or fees, cost of living crisis and people trying to grow food having to cart water in for their seedlings. Buttercup is absolutely priceless

Good evening Maude I've been told the council will be on site tomorrow to try and fix the problem but i'm not counting on them fixing the burst....

Hi Mark and buttercup it's bloody raining 🌧 again this morning got some good ideas how you done your sweetcorn all my Tom's are about couple of inches big now and cucumbers garkins cillis doing OK started some melons and pumpkin off other day separated some broccoli 🥦 other day never seen white daffodils before your Allotment looking very colourful my sunflower are up to well mate bye for now Mark and buttercup stay safe

Afternoon Albert the weatherman was saying last night that Salford would be hit with some heavy rain today, But so far its been very light rain...I think after reading what you say your going to be in the same boat has me and that's running out of space to put everything real fast....

Thanks again. We have had a good Easter it has been warm, I have been able to clean some of my plot ready to put Bussell Sprots in plus some cabbage and the last of the root veg while the dirt is still warm. Pam in Melbourne Australia 20c 9.30am We are expecting a storm later

hi mark plot looks amazing as usual planted all my spuds yesterday onions and shallots last weekend just waiting for my tomato seeds to pop up you could should open a market gardeners with all that veg will pop round for some toms in a few weeks lol

The reed fencing around the chicken pen looks lovely. I threw my mushy onion bulbs in the compost. To my surprise some came up. 😮 Can the ones growing in the compost bin be transplanted back to the garden bed?

Afternoon David I will be building another compost bin soon has i can get more pallets and i was going to be adding my solar panel to my shed when i clear it of all the stuff I've accumulated over the years, I might even replace the back greenhouse for anew one i have and never built....

I’m keeping my nets on my onions this year as I was plagued with onion fly last year. Do you have to use fresh sweetcorn seed every year? Thanks

Good evening Sean the only problem i have with my onions is keeping the cats off them, Has for the sweet corn has long has there in date they should germinate watch my video later i'm growing some rainbow coin this year and you will be amazed....
