You need a new trainer if you don’t see any changes with your pets ! Just because you got a new dog doesn’t mean they will be bffs right then and there . it takes time ! Just like a relationship . Please take your time with you’re dogs . It will take time !

Seriously what are you thinking. Clearly getting a new puppy wasn’t a smart idea when you’d barely brought koda home a few days after not having him for quite a while. The new dog has to go. Why punish poor koda with all the changes between houses when it’s the new dog causing the problems. Cece is a handful and needs specialist training and a home where she can be an only dog. Koda is trained and ready to be home with his mumma. Really think about poor Koda and look for a better home for cece. It would be the responsible thing to do for everyone’s sake.

Please look into a proper balanced trainer. I’ve been training for six years and have worked with a dogs of all kinds... sport dogs, agressive dogs, service dogs, etc. Nothing will be successful with solely positive reinforcement. Don’t feel bad that Cece is in a Crate at night. Dogs don’t have those kinds of feelings. That’s entirely your feelings being projected on to her. I know it can be hard but she’s fed, and loved and that’s all that matters to her. Training and consistency is key. Keep her in the crate. Don’t crumble and let her come upstairs until she’s 100% earned that reward. Also beware of cutting a double coated dog’s fur. The top coat provides insulation and keeps them both cool and warm. If you cut that top layer, they’re no longer able to regulate body temp, therefore making them hotter than cooler.

Huskys are an amazing dog breed BUT they really are still very much a working dog breed and are very stubborn and hard to train. I honestly think you have taken to much on, simple facts are you should never go get another dog and bring it home without a good long introduction between dogs because this very thing happens. You really need to start thinking about maybe re-homing CeCe and waiting on getting a puppy after Koda has passed,it is only fare to him and the sheer stress right now for everyone dogs included must be really getting to you all.

I had this problem with my pit / boxer and wiener dog , I always kept them separated unless it was bedtime . So one day I made the mistake of letting haze ( the pit ) out of the room I kept her in when I was gone and I didn’t realize maryjane was not up on the bed and haze attacked her and almost killed her .. it was a 200.00 vet bill . I ended up getting haze a nice new home with a bigger yard and ppl who didn’t have 3 other dogs .. I hated doing that because it felt like I was betraying her by choosing sides , because I knew it wasn’t her fault .. but she’s happier now and that’s all that matters .

Having two dogs who don't get along right at first is hard. But if you love both of thess dogs, give it time. My first dog absolutely hated my second dog when I brought him home. Would attack him over everything. We kept them mostly separated for months with small visits with each other without toys and food involved. After 10 months they just magically got along. They are best friends now. It's a very hard and stressful thing to go through. But it's not impossible. If you're not willing to be patient and work with them any longer, do not rehome koda. If his issues are anxiety and slight aggression he will have a hard time finding a home and will mostly likely end up in a shelter. Rehoming my first fur baby was never a thought that crossed my mind. (The second one though, it did cross my mind at first because I was just afraid of the safety of both of my boys.)

The meeting between coda and CC should be natural and organic and not forced. Coda is clearly telling you that he doesn’t want another dog and you need to respect that because some dogs don’t like other dogs or want to be the only dog in the house and that needs to be respected you really need to think about rehoming cc because now it’s just a free body including the dogs and that’s not OK

It is so cool that y`all are trying to get the two dogs to get a long. My dog the dog right beside my comment use to get a long with my black lab that I use to have but after she died my dog as not got a long with another dog. When you have a older dog it is not east to get them to get a long with a puppy or another dog, I am not saying it cant happen but I am saying that it is hard. I think with older dogs they get mad easy so if you get a puppy or a young dog and the puppy or young dog has a lot of energy then the puppy or younger dog might make the older dog so mad that it starts a fight... I will say to y`all dont give up and keep trying but if it starts to get dangers for the puppy then y`all might have to make a choose.

Are you able to set up a kennel/run outside? That way both dogs can be outside. Also, reward Koda for any good behavior that he has around the new puppy. Shoot me a message if you need any help with anything, I have Alaskan Malamutes and have had to introduce a new puppy to the Pack.

That’s pretty messed up that you want to rehome a dog you’ve had for years to keep a dog you’ve had weeks. Stop getting pets. You’re irresponsible pet owners and should be ashamed.

They need more time. It works a lot better when you get a puppy at 8-10 weeks for introducing to another dog but it can be time. Give them a lot more time! You got a dog and already have a dog. It’s not easy and you shouldn’t have taken it lightly. Regime CC I know it’s hard but he’s your first child, you’ve moved him from home to home and then bring in a new dog he’s so confused and frustrated! Also don’t let her run up the stairs! Her joints are still forming and it’s bad.

Enjoyed the video. Cece is very cute. I do feel for poor Koda though. Also don’t think it’s a great idea to be showing Finn that it’s okay to skateboard without a helmet....

This is why you introduce the dogs before getting a new dog .
