My idea for what James deal was (saw this in someone else's comment section) 6:42 Qwimbly makes a cameo for "James at Idaho" and at 18:34 it's revealed that the guy that's been bullying Charlie the entire episode IS James, and with the broken computer screen to the left he probably played Qwimbly's game and got real mad. so James used the cameo to find Qwimbly's location and when he got there you see him looking through cupboards, presumably to find him, but Qwimbly's already left with Pim. so James stay's at Qwimbly's last location waiting for him to come back. James story resolves with him killing the CEO of qwimbly's game which makes him happy because what's the point of killing the mascot of the terrible game when he killed the reason it was terrible in the first place.

God I loved playing Gwimbly legends as a kid, so nostalgic. I remember that incredibly satisfying feeling when you finally beat a boss as Gwimbly hits his iconic victory dance, good times man.

I like Gwimbly Origins just a bit more than Gwimbly Legends. But that’s just my personal taste.

so the moral of the story is even if your a long forgotten and unloved video game character you can always be reloved if you go to smash granted you now how to wait till the next smash game comes but still

There are reaction channels that are barely edited, But this one is the literal opposite.

I'll never forget the moment they annonced the first mario and gwimbly at the olympique games game

20:45 expanding on that a bit, the reason why S1 episode 1 of smiling friends is my favorite episode is because they were HYPER focused on which character ends up nihilistic. The happiest character became depressed while every one else became super happy and cheerful.
