Its Colas honestly! Class 70 bursts into Preston Station: A Few Hours at Preston Station

I hadn't planned to be in Preston again but circumstances dictated otherwise. Nor had I had a look at RealTime Trains to see what would be running so it was pot luck!
I was delighted almost straight away to see a Class 70 hauling tanks up the 1:29 from the Preston Dock branch. As a bonus, the loco, although in Freightliner livery, is on lease to Colas.
Another surprise was to see the grey 805002 again on a working from Lancaster.
Lots of other pasenger trains going backwards and forwards.
The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.

nice video Les great mix Preston must be one of the worst stations for platform edges very nasty with there undulating levels (anlel twisters) very poor i guess one of your surprise's was seeing the 70 emerging at the beginning ? 😂 well done Les thanks for sharing stay safe a t b syd👍
