I bought a PH meter years ago. One of my best purchases. I use it with every brew and regard it indispensable. Together with Murphy and sons' water analysis on my supply, it makes water treatment easy to calculate and adjust.
Looks like a rather big "PH Meter" ,just remember Tom when testing lube it well and only insert the tip 😆 🤣 😂
You just saved my plants with this video....thanks man appreciate the info
Thanks Tom, very interesting, keep 'em coming mate. Stevie
Some fancy bowls you've got there!
When you rinse the pH meter after removing from the buffer solution, it's typically recommended that you dry the pH meter thoroughly before putting it in the next buffer solution, otherwise little-by-little there's potential that you may start to dilute each buffer solution with distilled water.
I did a vid on calibrating mine when I got it before reading the instructions, you can guess how that turned out 😆I’m sure my beer has been better since I’ve been paying attention to the ph 👍🍻
Cool! I bought one last week. Seems to work but calibration needs to be checked occasionally. Got to be careful as readings are temp specific.
Hi mate, I have questions ha. How often do you have to calibrate it. How long does the solution store for and do you just store the probe dry. Thanks for the video and answers if you get the time 👍
I think you normally have to keep the sensor moist in storage or it won't last very long...
go ahead and reorder your calibration packs and storage solution...you'll need it! Cheers!
So. a year on. is it still going strong?
that explains why i can't get my PH right... keep them coming Tom. Any news on your next brew date with Harry??
Do you save the calibration liquids?
HI Tom, after already having a cheaper PH Meter break on us, were looking for a better one, is still still going ok a month or so on? recommneded? 🙂 P.S was you in a pub in brampton chez a few weeks ago?
Hey Tom, Sorry for yet another novice brewing question but If I was going to add a flavour to a homebrew beer like say coconut or dark chocolate how would I go about it? Love the channel & the content, keep it going.
