    The opening sequence is cool. At least the ITN atrium can still be seen in the background during interviews conducted in the building for reports on ITV News bulletins.

    Nicholas Owen on relief duties that day... John Suchet was the regular host between 1992 and 1999... Carol Barnes was also a relief newscaster at that time, and I'm pretty sure I remember Dermot Murnaghan occasionally filling in too

    I have the end of Westcountry News and full Lunchtime News from 13/1/94.

    Alan Teague Hi Alan, was this the same area of the news room where News at Ten was broadcast from? It looks the same, did they simply move in a different desk for early evening news, have it placed with the news room as it main backdrop, then move the desk out, and put in the News at Ten desk and monitors? Because the background the world looks very similar to News at Ten of 1992-1999.

    Sounds like a Neighbours plotline. (Neighbours, when on the BBC was actually the main competition to the EEN at the time due to airing against it)
