Itch To Stitch Andes Jacket Collaboration

Hello!
The long awaited collaboration and reveal with Christine ‪@The_Gemini_Stitcher‬ is here! (I shared Christine's instagram handle, which is slightly different on this video)
We have both made the Itch to Stitch Andes Jacket, both of us are very different in height, so it will be interesting to see what Christine did with hers 😀.
I hope you enjoy this video and if you do, please give it a like!
I'd love to hear what you think of our makes and if you have made it yourself, what you thought of it.
Thank you to everyone who subscribes to my channel, it really means a lot having your support.
Don't forget to head over to Christine's channel and see what she has made 😀.
Take care
Mandy

Thanks Claire, I did enjoy edgestitching strangely, although I was holding my breath when I sewed around the sleeve head as so much fabric to keep out of the way! X

Thanks Julie 😀I do love that fabric! I don’t corridor it a beginner pattern as so many pieces and edge stitching, but I am chuffed it’s a wearable garment 😂 x

Wow, this looks amazing! I'm not an accurate cutter at the best of times, so thank you for the tips on how important it is for this sort of make x

Very useful video, thank you. I have this pattern on my to-sew-soon list. I will follow your advice and cut the pattern pieces singly. I have procrastinated with this make, I think because I am a little nervous about working with so many pieces and softshell fabric. I will make myself a 45 degree tool, too, what a brilliant idea.

Thanks Bren, it is a lot of pieces but love how it all fits together 😀 definitely will be more careful cutting out if I make again! Softshell was lovely to work with and I prefer it to double gauze 😂 x
