There is absolutely no comparison between the two. 2 lakh ka fark hote hue bhi compare kar rha hai, btao 😂😂 Jahan pe Alto K10 ka top variant aata hai, wahan se Tiago ka base shuru hota hai.

Clean and elegant design; ALTO look good.. Instead of focusing on faltu details, Maruti should give importance to SAFETY by using thick steel frame and steel sheets plus good quality Tyres, good Ground Clearance and hill assists kind of features which are essential for driving. We do not require 6 Airbags, /or Sterio /or Chrome but we should sustain ALIVE if small accidents happen especially in the rainy season.

Thick steel doesn't ensure safty. Strong lightweight high tensile steel alloy can give more safty than which mild steel.

Ask a mumbaikar and he/she would say rear doors should be manual after the Mumbai floods. Many cars got locked and people couldn't come out with rising water levels. Manual window is safer. Atlest rear should have it.

They increased height a lot which is good for practicality but it destroys the proportions of the car. The original Alto and Alto K10 were the best looking Alto for India.

Renault kwid being the direct competition has better features, this one neing topmodel, doesn't have a reverse cam, no electrically adjustable ORVMs, no manual/automatic day night IRVM. Only thing kwid fails is with the refinement of engine, and no manual override mode in amt. Otherwise RXT AMT is just few thousands costly than vxi+ amt

I own an Alto 2008 model and when I did a test drive of Kwid for my friend I found kwid to be flimsy. Alto build quality was way better. Kwid has many plastic parts under the bonnet. Even door hinges paint finishing etc is not even close to the Alto. Maruti manufacturing is one of the best.

My father purchased Alto LX in 2007 on the occasions of my birthday and our car is still running like new.... Our Alto is not just a car, it's an emotion for us❤️

Maruti has increased rates for all their cars see Alto VXI as 5 Lac plus approx 60-70 k more for on road, price on which Swift LXI used to come

Hoping that company will update the ignis with the new 1.2L engine offered on wagon r and with minor tweets to make it look more SUVish..... Thats what i will prefer over the new K10..... Even if it cost 1 lakhs more

Fog lamp hona chaiye tha. Atleast accessories me lagne ka Option dena chaiye tha.

aage se i10 nios, peeche se celerio. khilona jaisa dikh raha hai. Suzuki ki design hadd se bhi bekar hai.

We purchased our alto at 3.6 lack LXI back in 2015. Better get ignis then this alto. Also looks and feels bad than previous altos

Sir, 3.99 lac is for standard which doesn’t even come with power steering, forget about AC. So, the proper base variant is Lxi and the cost looks expensive at least by 50k.

I m driving K10 2011 model even at that time it was equipped with power steering, still it is with

Things/features I like on the new alto K10: 1. Increased dimensions 2. Audio Mounted controls on steering (at least on top variant) 3. Updated door lock system 4. Bottle holder space on front doors (missing on alto 800) 5. Rear speakers/cut out for rear speakers (missing on alto 800) 6. AMT option Things/features i hate on the new Alto K10: 1. No provision for fog lamps installation 2. Rear reflectors missing (very important for safety at night during parking) 3. No manual IRVM (i mean how much can it cost?) 4. No electronic ORVMs (could've provided at least on top model) 5. No rear power windows buttons (can be considered if electronic ORVMs given) 6. No body coloured ORVMs 7. No tachometer (i like the instrument cluster from old Alto K10) 8. All black interior (black & beige interior on alto 800 makes it looks better and less claustrophobic) 9. Exposed metal parts near rear window glass panel (and on boot space on LXI model) 10. Missing 14 inches wheels (at least on top variant) 11. Reverse parking light present only on the left tail light

I agree with your points, valid and very well laid out. One thing I would like to correct: Rear reflector is there but it's at unusual position and actually a cost cutting. 1 reflector sitting on top side of the back where the rear spoiler usually is placed. Suzuki calls it a rear reflector which doubles up as brake light. I see it as a cost cutting. Also regarding 1 reverse light, they have the same system in Old gen Baleno(BS4) as well. Suzuki is a leader when it comes to cost cutting (Not a fan of it though)

Lekin jo minimum features basic or important hai aaj-kal k zamane mein, woh toh de deta. Zyada profit k liye bhar bhar ke cost cutting karke v baad mein accesories k naam pe bhi showroom wale lootenge. Choti city jaha sirf ek hi showroom rehta hai waha discount amount ko showroom wale accessories k naam pe le leta hai. Bina accesories lagwaye gaari bechta hi nahi.
