It’s a hearty Italian greeting from Vincenzo in his home town of Pescara where his wonderful ‘famiglia’ welcome you to feast at their table with arms wide-open. The beach city is revealed as one of the most vibrant places to visit in Abruzzo (Italy); bursting with life and yet often overlooked. Vincenzo also takes a boat ride to explore near-by San Vito where historical fisherman huts are explored and Prawns with cognac are cooked and served on the water.
This is the official TV series "Italy Unexplored" directed and produced by my wife Suzanne and I. This travel documentary series won the Best Travel Program of the year at The Taste Awards 2017 and we are very proud to finally have this amazing Italy travel documentary on youtube.

It's fine, because now you get to be St Vincenzo who founded the tourist market for Abruzzo. The secret spot for people who know...lol. My mother's father is from Abruzzo (and her mother from Campania), and I want to visit to see where my family is from, so seeing that you have an abruzzo tour is perfect. I WILL come to your tour in next few years, so don't stop it !

Hi Vincenzo, I saw your video on making arrosticini and within a week I had ordered everything from bbq aroma. I was in Abruzzo last year to see my family in Caramanico Terme. When I watch your videos of Abruzzo "mi viene la malinconia". Enjoy your tour.

Better than any other travel and food show on TV. It is all in the Authenticity. Now I am glad I made pasta and mussels today because this episode makes me want seafood.

Ciao Vincenzo! I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts near Boston. My mother grew up just outside of Sulmona (between Sulmona and Pettorano sul Gizio), and moved here as a teenager. I have been to Sulmona and Abruzzo many times, and it the most beautiful area in the world, in my opinion. We are hoping to take some day trips while we are staying in Sulmona, so I look forward to more of your series for ideas!! Thank you!

Vincenzos Plate Ciao, No I haven’t been in that region. Our first trip to Italy was a couple months ago and we went to Rome and traveled to a hot spring called Saturnia that was near Manciano. Would love to go back and see more. Such a wonderful country. By the way, I made Nonna’s limoncello and it was magnifico. I am making more. Tell her I appreciate her sharing her recipe.

Last year we went to Casalbordino, we have also been to Teramo,Ascoli Piceno (my Fathers birthplace) Villa Rosa, San Benedetto del Tronto, Porto di Ascoli etc,, and on the 28th of this month Martinsicuro,, we carnt wait,,beautiful part of Italy Loving your videos,,dont shout it out to loud though, about Abruzzo,,,we dont want everyone there,,,only joking,lol

They are an embarrassment to tourism marketing.... You must make sure that YOU benefit from these videos Vincenzo. They are so professional and you are a wonderful presenter. My Nipotina and my daughter are here with me at the moment - she is only 7 months old. But they go back to the UK next week . I am here for the summer
Could not believe I saw stuffed olives from Ascoli Piceno on the table. But having Ascoli PIceno just north of Pescara that would make sense. Next you should go to Le Marche province north of Abruzzo. Another undiscovered province of Italy that no one has ever heard of or discovered. Like Abruzzo Le Marche real Italian life happens daily.

@@vincenzosplate my great grandfather and grandfather are from Salle, in Pescara. Our family history is well documented. I'm funny enough the 4th Vincenzo in the family line. My grandfather was Nicolo/Nicola Forchilli/ Forchelli (several different ways it was spelled in many family texts).

The pescara airport is awful go few hundred yards to the mall, Achuan can serve wild boar meat, pick up some soft bread and drizzle local oil for a great lil sandwich
