I loved the Paris to Milan train ( day travel) It was brilliant traveling through the Alps. Well worth the money 💵

great video on the thello service your videos are very detailed and explanatory i like that very much however its sad to hear about the train crash in voghera all those lives lost at least nowadays trains are much more safer and train crashes with large fatalies are rare

Answering your question: I travelled in February with Frecciarossa 1000 (Mille) in Executive Class from Torino Porta Nuova (Turin) to Roma Termini (Rome). Most likely my favourite train journey so far in terms of service and cabin quality. The lounge in Torino is just a Freccia Club, so not as good as Freccia Lounge at e.g. Milano Centrale or Roma Termini. BTW, your channel is underrated in comparison to the quality of your videos. You don't have the most typical coverage.

Sounds great! I agree with you, the Frecciarossa 1000 in Executive class is an amazing experience. However the Eurostar offers a great travel experience, too. The cabin may not be as exceptional as in the Frecciarossa, but the lounge at St Pancras and the onboard dining are quite impressive. Thanks so much for your comment, feedback like yours is what drives my small channel. I try to make things a little bit different from the usual trip reports by putting a lot of emphasis on research and telling things around the trip. Another well made video, all tough I think the music around the 3 minutes mark is a bit too loud. Ever since I started to watch your channel I wondered where you are from, because I found it quite hard defining your accent. Would you be so kind and answer me this question?

Hi and thanks for your feedback and I agree, that the sound is to loud at that point. It's always difficult to find the right settings, because it also depends on the output device to a certain degree, but I will try to make sure it will be better in my future videos. As for your question, I prefer to keep that to myself at this point (there should be some mystery about this channel :D), but I might answer it in a future q&a video. I love train travel but have the misfortune to live in Northern England where train services are appalling. My favourite rail journeys are in Switzerland Fantastic punctual clean efficient services all integrated regardless of the operating company , and of course, beautiful scenery! BTW which nationality are you ?

Hi and thanks for watching. Yes, the Swiss railway is generally reliable and clean. This is partly due to the relatively short system length, which makes it easier to operate than large railway systems such as those in France and Germany. Personally I can‘t say much about train travel in Britain, I have only tested the Eurostar and the Heathrow Express - both were excellent. Hopefully I get to travel on other trains, too.
