Another great presentation of Italian dining adventure by Mark. With so much appreciation, I can only echo my thanks and admiration for your videos. Dining at Villa d'Amelia is quite enticing and inviting. I love the elegance, the seduction of palate by serving little portions; it's like, "never put yourself too available to others," where one only gets drawn to find out and want more. Now, I'm teased enormously with that gin d'Amelia with the scent of burnt rosemary!
Mark-we appreciate how much you appreciate food! We feel like we are eating it ourselves. I have never thought about truffles are harvested but I can certainly say I’m now looking into going on a truffle hunt!

A truffle hunt is on my bucket list for my next visit to Italy for sure.I spent the last month of September visiting the region of Puglia,ending my trip in the beautiful Lecce,where I went to Pasticceria Natale and met the owner,Lina,thanks to one of your past videos.She was extremely nice!!.I said that I knew her from the internet and showed her your video so she could see herself on KZread haha!!.She then asked if I could send her the link and before leaving the pastry shop, she stopped me and gave me a gelato on the house.

I really don’t know where you got this information, but it’s wrong. When in season, the Italian truffle is the most sold in Italy. Only when it’s out of season, and the truffles can’t be sold, you can find cheap varieties coming from foreign countries (mostly Bulgaria, Iran and China).
