i understand your point in "regret" and you are right, people shouldnt care and should learn their lessons after they did bad things, but actually regret is somewhat important in islam, we say regret is the first step to repentance, so this is a good thing, when you do bad things or commit sins if you feel bad and really regret what you have done and then ask allah for reptance and promise to yourself that you will do your absolute best to never do this sin again, then allah forgives you, in fact he is the most merciful i also recommand you to check out other converts stories of "Towards eternity" they are really good

4:35 "what does islam believe about that?" we believe Jesus will come back (peace be upon him) and we believe he never died. he was actually taken up to heaven when people thought he was crucified. but in the end times, he will come down and defeat the anti-christ and break the cross. The unbelievers plotted against Jesus in his life to have him killed but God saved him. God said in the Qur’an, “Meanwhile the disbelievers plotted to have Jesus killed, and God plotted in response, and God is the best of plotters.” (Qur’an 2:54) The unbelievers plotted to kill Jesus, but God plotted in response to the wrongdoers. So this deemed the plot of God to be a praiseworthy attribute because it established justice. God changed the form and features of one of the people present so that he resembled Jesus. It is said that one of those who plotted against Jesus was changed by God to look like Jesus, and was executed in his place, though he pleaded that he was not Jesus. He left out to get Jesus killed but found himself being arrested and executed. So that sealed the plot of God against them in the best way. Another saying is that when the unbelievers came to seize Jesus, Jesus asked his disciples who would wish to take his place in this world to be seized and killed, and in turn receive the promise of Paradise for his sacrifice. So one of the disciples stepped forward, was seized and executed. In this is the fruition of the plot of God in response to their plotting in that they were not able to kill Jesus. God stated, “They say in boast, ‘We killed the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.’ But they killed him not, nor did they crucified him, but the resemblance of Jesus was put over another man.” (Qur’an 4:157)

I would also like to add how Jesus(PBUH) mentioned something in the bible regarding his "crucifixion"; Jesus says that (I'm paraphrasing), as Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights, so shall I be in the heart of the earth, three days and three nights. Jonah was alive in the belly of the fish. Jesus is telling his followers that he will be as Jonah was.

Do you know that all Muslim will experience hellfire? If You don't know about it please open and read your Qur'ran Sura Maryam verse 71,72. I hope you to know who is Jesus that can relieve You from hellfire. Ameen.
