God still knows all of that for He is knowing of what is inside of us, "breasts" here is translated from "صدور or Sudoor" which means "chests" means God knows what thoughts we have inside in our hearts.. The verse 13 means that no matter if you say something publicly or keep it secret, it is the same for Allah because he knows what is in you heart (in the breast).

within the breasts means secrets inside the minds , in arabic we say his breast ( chest ) is full of rage , it means he's full of rage even he doesn't reveal that rage .

Yes the word breast there stands for Heart. Why Allah SWT use the word breast and not heart only Allah SWT knows the best. Maybe in future science would discover for us. Secondly you paused for the bird and you missed the statement. Allah SWT says there the birds fly with open wings and sometimes they close the wings. Only Allah SWT holds them in sky else they would fall immediately.
