SOS is probably her influence too but they key i think Is Igor Krytoy who works with both of them and made songs for both. And Lara Fabian & Dmitri Hvorostovsky duet was although directed by Krytoy production.

Lara (blond - she's around 50 and had a cold during the performance) is half Italian, Aida is Russian (35) and is an opera singer so is trained in classical opera so she knows Italian and Dimash (25) is classically trained so also knows Italian and is using his tenor voice. Actually, Aida is not Russian, she is Tatar. There are more than 185 nationalities living in Russia.

Lara is special she is truly in her own league Her voice is soft and so pretty but still carries strength and so much emotion and it doesn't hurt that she's a heroine and example for Dimash so I won't argue with you if you call her the best just consider one little thing she is limited in what she can sing meaning what would suit her voice , charisma and personality like almost all great singers and vocalists in general that's why Dimash is so rare and special he can be just as convincing and charismatic with his voice and his presence on stage no matter what color or type of music he's singing

(Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion) when she sings a Song you are convinced 100% she means it, every little Nuance. .. her Experience and Acting on Stage, the Phrasings . . Check out for Example Je suis Malade... It is just a different Level of Art. Only a few can reach this Level of Natural Authenticity... Vocal Range has nothing to do with this.. We can agree Dimash and Lara are amazing in their own way...

The blond lady is Lara and she is half Belgian (dad) and half Italian (her mom is Sicilian) and Lara lived in her first 5 years in Italy then the family moved to Belgium so she bilingual by birth ( Italian and French) but she speaks 5 languages fluently. Lara is a legend and Dimash's idol since childhood. Dimash dreamed of singing with Lara on stage and this was his dream come true. You should react to Lara's rendition of 'Caruso' and 'Perdere L'amore' than her most famous performance of 'Je Suis Malade' of which she sings on her live concert titled 'From Lara With Love' but make sure that you have the English subtitled version.

First, don't worry about offending people... People prefer honest opinions to sitting on fences. However, please explain when you said Dimash could have handled it alone. I know you mean he can sing baritone, tenor, soprano, but your point has no relevance. As you are Italian you understand the song is about a guy torn between two ladies, they meet Dimash one after the other, and eventually he has them both! ( very Italian!). So the song needs a masculine man and two women, i.e. a trio. I agree Aida and Lara are both great singers. Your first impressions of Lara were accurate. For me she is one of the very best world singers today. Her voice is famous for its clarity, its tone and resonance and she is recognised as an amazing performer, able to vary her dynamics from soft to powerful to better interpret the song. I had never heard Aida before this performance and have since listened to her singing other songs solo in the Krutoy concert. She is a wonderful singer too, even with her operatic "warbling". Of course you are right. Dimash was great, and he is getting better as he matures! The whole Krutoy concert, containing a number of Lara, Dimash and Aida solos and great skating, is a joy to watch over 1 hour and a half. Thank you.

Thank you for this comment!! I didn't want to offend anyone because we all came from different cultures and maybe I wasn't explaining well in English what I wanted to say due to the fact it's not my first language. so, what I meant with my comment is that he could have sang this song alone because is voice is so astounding, impressive and would have make this song sound like a masterpiece even without the other singers. I wasn't thinking about the meaning of the song itself because when I sing something I like to sing it all alone even though there should be counterpart :) I really enjoyed reading your comment and the way you write makes me think you could be a professor, lawyer or writer! and song lyrics. The latest song to fascinate me is Lara Fabian's Running, sung also at the Krutoy concert. It exemplifies what I referred to earlier about Fabian's artistry. In addition, her dense text, which I have translated elsewhere on KZread. can be distilled to "in a fight between logic and the heart, allow the heart to win, even if the cost is high". This is a pretty accurate description of Lara's own persona, and something that makes her adored by her fans.

I thought, that Lara Fabian, Dmitri Chworostowsky and Sumi Jo were the best trio for this song. But Aida, Dimash and Lara were also great. I always remember that Dmitri left us too early. It's really hard... Lara is also one of my favourite singers. I can understand Dimash very well, that he adores her.

I'm sorry about that... when I edited the video it was very clear and even from my pc is still pretty loud. I'll take that in consideration and improve for the next video, thank you!!

The original sound is so weak, so low, one cannot hear anything. No sense to discuss music, which we could not hear in this video at all. Please pay attention next time to level of sound.

At least Lara was there Dimash the odd man out. He has a great instrument but is far from master of it.
