WOW! That is the most realistic winter camouflage I've ever seen applied to an aircraft! And you are absolutely right about the Germans using rags, brushes, mops to apply it. Will definitely reference this video and techniques when a winter scheme is needed! Great job!

Yeah the winter schemes were definitely haphazard, I belive they didn’t even have any offical white wash early on since they didn’t think they were going to be in Russia for more than a few months in the summer/fall! @@Luca_Sprues_Model_Kits Ammo has some acrylic washable paints like rust, white, black, sand, dust. Depending on how long you let them dry you can use them for chipping, winter camo or a subtle dust effect.I believe they're worth trying, especially if you like brushpainting. Thanks a lot! Yeah sure thing, for the exterior I use the AK interactive paints which use the German codes of RLM 70, RLM 71 and RLM 65, the white wash was done with Tamiya XF-1 white (Enamel) and to remove the excess I used X-20 Enamel Thinner from Tamiya. Inside I used XF-24 dark grey with other colours like white, black, red and yellow. For those I use Vallejo’s Model Colour range and some of Tamiyas Acrylics. hope that helps and if you got any more questions just shoot👍🏻😁 -Luca
