The technically tied record isn’t really what is impressive, since Nanami repeatedly states the difficulty of even landing one black flash, Itadori’s consistency in being able to land it almost on command is truly impressive.

Isn't every blow he deals basically a black flash? Like, Black flash is a space distortion created by the blow of cursed energy at the exact moment of impact. Isn't Infinity and blue, red and purple void a space distortion technique, but to an even greater effect? So everytime he is sending someone flying with red, he is making effectively a black flash, no? it's just that he doesn't need to coordinate it perfectly, like others would need. His ability allows him to call on it whenever he wants.

@@SelvenXXUP From my understanding; Both being space distortions doesn't mean they are similiar. Black Flash is when Cursed Energy is applied so fast to the fist, at the very last moment before impact. This incredible feat is rewarded with 2.5 times the output. The Black sparks are just an indication that Black Flash is being used. Even Gojo cannot do it at will because it has nothing to do with CT or CE. It's all about Focus. Why the 2.5 times the output? Because the Risk of the punch being a non-CE infused punch is so high because people could be late at getting CE to the fist. CE flows from the Guts So People who takes the risk are rewarded with more strength. Like Binding Vows.

He doesn't break it, he just becomes the co-holder of the record

Well during nanami's interview he hasn't specified if he did 4 times in a row. He said that his record is 4 times that's it. It could be that he has used black flash 4 times during that single day and not specifically in a row

I will also put weight on my argument by recalling the moment when toudou is surprised and says three times in a row which would mean that it's not easy to use black flash continuously even by grade 1 sorcerers or even higher than then

Can we talk about how op it actual is? Because of the fact they still keep momentum and or he can transfer the momentum of an object to the one he switches with? Imagine him jumping off a building to build velocity and then switching with an object. Whilst selectively keeping the inertia so that his already superhuman strength can be increased

Well I mean in your example, if he were to jump off a building and switch objects, he would still get crushed by his own weight from the fall. If you keep momentum, or switch momentums, that’s almost instant death. Think about it, if the human body goes from 100mph to 0 in a fraction of a second, that only spells out one thing.

Not necessarily, the zone is actually a very real thing that happens to people in real life too, not just athletes but anyone in any occupation can enter it, people just don't normally have lightning coming out their eyes when they do

You become completely focused, u have full control, complete awareness in what ur doing and u never second guess urself. It felt like that during those times, I used to call it just a "flow" before I knew what it was called.

Hanami is one of the most durable curses. Hollow Purple is far more powerful than a Black Flash from Yuji, but if Gojo were to do a BF it might be different.

The 'zone' that Kurobasu references is a real world phenomenon. It's exaggerated in the anime, but reaching a heightened state of concentration when focusing on something can be achieved by anyone. Especially common in sports, gaming, and programming. (point being, the 2 series are definitely not in the same universe)
