Nobata and Maki are probably one of the best modern female characters in action shonen manga. You could also add Yamada Asaemon Sagiri from Jigokuraku.

I fucking love this fight due to how smart the author uses Nobara's technique to set up and guarantee the victory. Yuji brought the power but Nobara shines so fucking much in this fight. They stood no chance.
Wow, I completely forgot how in the beginning of jjk things used to work out in favor of the protagonists. The next arcs are gonna be crazy when they get animated

this fight scene is the best of the season, the brother love for each other, the crazy-ass nobara, and the soft hearted yuuji, just beautiful
This fight scene is much sadder and hits harder if you read the manga and know about yuji.
Nobara’s “SHUT UP” feels so fking good. Asami Seto doing a real fine job.
