He sacrificed his parents, entire clan, love, and even his life to save the village and his brother who in turn wanted to kill him. The best part is that he continued to protect both the village and his brother until his death and even after it and never let anyone one know about his mission. He is undoubtedly the greatest shinobi ever that lived. And the best character in All Anime atleast for me.

He lost that fight on purpose. He had hat planned for a long time. In susanoo he had the power to win that fight, but he just wanted to transfer power to sasuke and to remove orochimarus influence by drawing him out and sealing him in that fight. Thats why sasuke woke up with amaterasu.

He puts so much love in Sasuke and makes sure he stays safe without him. Truly a good brother, No matter how much hate runs through Sasuke he takes care of him as a reanimation he pays respect to Sasuke

itachi is the best wriiten charcater ever reasons are 1 He accepted love in the place of love 2 Even at the age of seven he thought like hokage 3 He accepted darker and painful path for positive reason 4 he sacrificed his clan his parents and himself for the sake of his village and his beloved brother 5 Again after coming back from death saved the shinobu world again 6 in any anime being strong or powerful is not only things that makes character best or badas itachi is one of the strongest character in series but not the strongest but probably best character this is my opinion everyone has there own opinion but you cant hate this guy I swear he is the one and only character in anime world ❤🔥🔥
