As an italian, am really very happy about this wonderful victory. Also, Brazil showed that when there is a solid and classy sporting movement in a country, it is easy to rebuild a competitive team and the only step that cannot be anticipated is that of acquiring experience. Brasil men team played wonderful games! Italy has won again 🇮🇹

Congratulations Italy for being the champion for this year's VNL. This is the first time that they got an award since VNL started in 2018. Having a good system and utilizing their energy well was the reason for their win, and also the talented players especially the VNL MVP Egonu. They really deserved it. On the other hand, Brazil played well too, there were some errors but they managed to give a good fight. Congratulations to Brazil for having the Silver place. They are all winners. 💚💛💙

Actually, VNL isn't appreciated very much in Italy, as it is considered a very long competition played in far different places with an organization not particularly liked... And so Italy has always neglected VNL, sending teams made up with substitutes of substitutes, with just a couple of exceptions, that is when the tournament's name was "World Grand Prix", Italy played the final twice, but both times lost against Brazil (yes, Brazil is one of Italy's "black beasts", not only for football:...-D)

@@lukasberlim2290 a Itália tem um grande time e a Egonu estava longe de ser a melhor jogadora da Itália nessa final. Ela tava bem apagada. Se ela tivesse virada no capeta como estamos acostumados aí teria sido não só a derrota como a humilhação junto.

Italy clearly deserved it. Brazil needs another steady scorer besides Gabi because Julia B had a subpar performance this match. On the other side, Italy had reliable Bosetti and Pietrini in defense and attacks. Egonu is Egonu, no one can stop her consistently aside from herself. Huge props still for Brazil because they've managed to reach the finals despite the lack of experience for some of its roster.

Uma andorinha sozinha não faz verão, se fosse assim a Sérvia ou a Itália teriam ganho a última olimpiadas! As brasileiras perderam vários contra ataque, principalmente no final de cada set, pontos que fizeram faltam no placar Elas perderam a estabilidade no começo de cada set, depois correram atrás, encostavam no placar, mas depois voltavam a perder novamente a dinâmica. Isso prova que O Brasil é bem superior que a Itália, o que faltou foi apenas estabilidade! Se as meninas estivem com ataques precisos, teriam derrotado a Itália fácil!

@@marcelladonghia3918 acha que é superior?! O Brasil não conseguiu fechar os dois segundo sets, por erro das brasileiras. Elas por serem novas ficaram nervosas e tiveram dificuldades para finalizar. Em todos os sets, o brasil perdeu com diferença de poucos pontos, Ou seja, se não fosse a falta de experiência em campeonato internacional, pode ter certeza, que esses pontos de 2, 3 pontos em cada ser, não teria acontecido!

This line up Is really strong, no weakness at all, great defence and blocks, egonu jumps over every wall. Orro is very smart and let the whole team play. I really like Petrini, she Is young and hits very strong.

Ana Cristina e kisie serão as futuras "cubanas" da seleção brasileira. As Julias também vão evoluir. Temos chances para o mundial.

Definitivamente Italia es un equipo más consolidado y fuerte en estos momentos, Brasil con casi todo el equipo joven y renovado lo va a lograr en un tiempo, tienen jugadoras como Ana Cristina, Gaby, y otras con grandísimo talento que la van a romper en muy poco, aún así han logrado un excelente resultado con un equipo joven y renovado... Felicidades a los dos equipos y creo que los dos ganaron mucho más que una medalla...

As a team China fan, in retrospect, we did decently well against this amazing Italy team - we're the only team to have taken one set from them in the knockout stages and we were close to taking two. China wasn't at its best this VNL, and inconsistency plagued us throughout the tournament, but still overall I'd say we were the 5th or 6th best team in the tournament, (after Italy, Brazil, Serbia, US and maybe Japan, although since week 3 they consistently performed worse than us) so there are a few positives to take from this tournament. (although the team definitely needs some rebuilding to compete again for gold on the world stage...) As for this Italy team, congratulations for your VNL win and for an amazing tournament in general! Italy has a great future ahead in women's volleyball and seems to have built a strong, consistent and cohesive squad that should really be able to challenge for gold at any tournament, including the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics!

@@erhansoysal2201 Turkey was beaten comfortably by China, and Japan beat America and Brazil in the first 2 weeks... Turkey only finished 4th because they played the easiest Qf match (against Thailand) became they organised the tournament and got top seed as a gift... Turkey was beaten 3-0 by both Serbia and Italy - Turkey was 7th best in this tournament, not higher.

Italy debiera ser el próximo campeón mundial. Mantiene rl equipo de Tokyo, el cual ha madurado y consolidado como tal. Los otros países están en proceso de renovación, lo cual es necesario, pero los pone en ligera desventaja ante una Italia consolidada. No es de sorprender esta victoria 3 x 0 ante una inexperta Brasil...

Congratulations Italy..you were the natural winners because you had an outstanding team with Egonu in her best form, by your side, so confident which delivered flawlessly. Brazil has played valiantly and had equal chances of winning however the pressure of playing against an expected winning team like Italy was very much visible, if we look at scores they are nearly finishing but not before Italy... certain jittery shots, little nervousness , desperate smashes are visible..Brazil could have won the match as the team of Brazil was very talented and cohesive with Gabi by their side, but little bit of psychological factor missed it ..else Brazil was a equal team and they could have also won the tournament ... Heartiest congratulations to both the teams

I love how the Italian setters Distributed the set, It helps the attackers in different area to be a threat all the way from the pipe line, opposite, open hitters and middles. Its not always predictable to Eguno but everyone did their part and team work is the key for them. They have strong caliber attackers. Brazil needs to understand that Its not always about power, just like Sheila Castro before who uses her Volleyball IQ and just read and attack any angles of the court. Over all Congratulations to both.
