The show was such a breath of fresh air. I'm gone miss it, hope it gets a second season

The old dude who tried to kill Frieren was shown being introduced to Wirbel by Ehre, the girl in his party, because he's her grandfather. Back in the Stille test she told him her grandfather was a First Class mage, and Sense said he's the one who made the emergency golems they used to escape the dungeon in the second test.

I'm assuming based on who had pass and fail, it looks like the Serie judgement was mainly based on their fighting spirit and potential growth. I can see the divide and why she doesn't see Frieren as a 1st class mage. Frieren is the strongest candidate, but Frieren no longer care about growing stronger as a mage, she just want to enjoy life.

Yeah Serie is saying that Sense’s test wasn’t too easy and that there were a lot of high caliber mages. Which is correct considering that Ubel was able to defeat Sense’s clone and Frieren was only essential for defeating her own clone

Yeah, a bumper crop is when a farm has an unexpectedly big harvest. So Serie eas apologizing to Sense for saying too many mages passed. There was just an unusually high amount of talented mages this time. And in the end credit, it had Lernan talking to Wirbel. With them as well was Ehre, the young mage who liked to use rock magic in combat and who was one of the people who Serie failed last week. Ehre mentioned that her grandfather was a 1st class mage and based on the end credit that is like Lernen. So Ehre was introducing her new friends to her grandad.

Sad..goodbye frieren Friday..the ended makes it seem like they’re already planning more.

Sense is a War Mage. Frieren will never be what Sense wishes her to be. It took me a minute to figure out.
