They put an (unarmed) autonomous AI with a company of US Marines for a few weeks. To let it learn how the Marines moved, looked, fought, etc. Then they set it on it's own and had those same Marines attempt to get to the AI. The defeated it by using a cardboard box as a gillie suit. Basically confused the hell out of the AI into thinking the box was not a threat. My point is, these AI's do not think. They only respond to a set of programming. That programming is only as "smart" as the idiot that programmed it. The "art" they create is simply via directions of their programmer. No more art than if you copy/pasted the Mona Lisa. All the "innovation" only seems that way, because humanity has gotten lazy.

Out of all the apocalypse scenarios, AI stresses me out the least cause I imagine it'll be over quickly.

Given the difficulties of AI facial recognition working with melanin rich skin tones, they will be demanding that police departments use only AI for delivering lethal force. A bigger problem is that the more massive the weapon the greater the difficulty of swinging it onto the target with both precision and speed.
