It wasn't difficult, says welder's son from IIT on landing Rs. 1 crore job
21-year-old IIT Kharagpur student Vatsalya Singh Chauhan, who has landed a Rs. 1.02 Crore job with Microsoft in the US, says cracking the five-round selection process "wasn't very difficult." The final year student's father works as a welder back home in Bihar's Khagaria. "At fist my father didn't believe me. Once the news was confirmed, he couldn't speak for a while," the boy, whose father Chandra Kant Singh took loans to send him to IIT, said.
