    Costello's behavior is gonna come back and bite him hard. He's attempting to lay the foundation for a mistrial. A "Hail Mary" of desperation. His egregious behavior in the courtroom speaks volumes regarding his character. Both the judge and jury won't forget that. I'm sure the 🍊 Traitor LOVED it. 🙄 Choosing to have a major attitude, like a rebellious teenager, with the judge presiding, is appalling, shameful, and very unprofessional. MAGA members have been "demanding" that Costello be put on the stand to "exonerate" their 🍊 savior. They got what they wished for and then some. 🤭

  • @TheMangoMussolini

    @TheMangoMussolini

    I guess you're trying to write a script for the TV movie, but in the real world of criminal courts, mistrials are very rare, and are not granted on whims, or minor slips. The only thing out of the ordinary in this exchange between Costello and Justice Merchan is that the witness just happens to be an experienced lawyer who should, and does, know better. But mistrial material? A snowball in Hades has a better chance.

  • @marthaguerra3359

    You have it all wrong, it was the judge who broke, he blew up lost his composure and threw everyone out of the court, what judge does that! Actually, Costello broke him, all he had to do was to make gestures and that was it. The jury got to see his behavior, didn't go well for him.

  • @macofalltrades6396

    @macofalltrades6396

    24 күн бұрын

     Martha... Wow, are you ever exposing your ignorance. 1) This is Merchan's courtroom, not Costello's. Merchan has every right to enforce the standard of decorum he expects, and Costello is required to adhere to that standard unless he wants to be cited for contempt. 2) As an attorney, Costello is certainly aware of his behavioral obligations. The fact that the courtroom was cleared - which I believe is a first for this trial - speaks volumes about the level of misbehavior and disrespect evinced by Mr. Costello. 3) There are two attorneys on this jury. I can assure you that they both are aware both of the severity of Costello's transgressions and of his awareness of what he was doing. When Costello's testimony comes up during deliberations, their assessments of his credibility are likely to carry considerable sway - which will be both beneficial to Cohen as a witness and deleterious to Trump as a defendant. I know you don't understand how courtroom etiquette works - your cactus-like declaration reveals that - but your opinion, based on your factless observation, carries as little weight in the real world as Costello's testimony will with this jury - or his antics with this judge.

    Putting Costello on the stand was an act of Trump desperation after his attorneys weren't able to destroy Cohen with days of cross examination.

    The jury may believe Cohen is a bad guy. But he was a bad guy before the trial, working for Donald Trump. It adds credibility to the prosecution's case that Cohen knows Trump's mind and motivation, and is giving good evidence!

    Prosecutors make poor defense lawyers, he’s right about that. It has to do with cross-examinations skills, which the defense develops in the course of a career, much more than the prosecution. But his idea “prosecutors deal in facts, defense lawyers deal in what might be” is prosecutor-BS. Come on Glenn, ever hear of an innocent defendant? Mistaken identity? Wrongful convictions?
