Hi mate. Good vid as always. On the tuna as another viewer said don't cut their throat to bleed them. Search Iki Jimi for sashimi grade tuna. It will be easier than me trying to explain it by text but never cut a Tina's throat. Tight lines Dom.

The bloodline on tuna run just about directly under the pectoral fins a small knick in this bloodline is a far better way to bleed them and as someone else mentioned to brain spike them straight after bleeding then into ice as quickly as possible.. Well done on a successful trip

What an exciting session Dom….my daughters favourite fish is the silver trevally and they are quite numerous on the east and southern coast line. The tuna looked fantastic and what a cook up. All the best Dom and I am looking forward to the next time you venture off shore.

Nice little haul Dom👍. Ive been using bottom meat style rigs for demersals abit lately and a king wrasse fillet is perfect, a skippy fillet also great and the sargent baker yes sir ree. Obviously an occy tentacle or squid are gun too, but what im saying is you should have converted some of those fresh primo fish into strip baits on your bottom meat. Next time Dom 👍

It would’ve died anyway, then people go catch another one and take 2 out of the population. It’s not what we’ve traditionally been taught as fishermen but it does make sense.

Nice sesh mate ...good to see you venturing out wide...pick your days and it is all good...just a tip , get yourself a Ikejime spike and into the brain before bleeding to kill them instantly as they are still kicking and stressing if you don't and does affect the quality of the meat....Cheers

Abviously it was a TUNA..many types out there like Blue Fin, Yellow tail, Skip Jack, Mackerel Tuna ect.. I don't catch fish not with the intent to slit there throats ! If I catch them I'll dispose of them ready for the table

why bother to keep the mother-in-law fish
