I think that’s the point the original comment is making. Cooper was open and very easy to speak to. Nuno is not as easy to interview and doesn’t at all enjoy interviews/press conferences. You can see how much Nuno has warmed to Colin since he first came to Forest.

Such a contrast from the press conferences. I think we just saw the real man. I like him.

My man's an introvert. That's all, that's why he's not that engaging in press conferences. Nowt wrong with that, it's normal. We have unrealistic expectations about how public figures should behave

The club is moving in the right direction under Nuno. Afcon, points deductions, 1 reliable striker, media scrutiny, he's dealt with it all calmly. He talks about the players stress and anxiety and perhaps that's impacted how he's conducted himself on the touchline and in the media. It's proven how important it is to have a manager that understands the modern athlete. Next season will be better I have no doubt. Thank you Nuno, not many managers could pick up a club enduring the worst second season syndrome the way you have and come through the other side successful, calm and eloquent. COYR

Thanks. I'd add to that list the hurdle of Fan scrutiny. I wouldn't underestimate that. I been reading some of the comments and i can understand a fans frustration but boy some of the vitriol was way over the top.

In the end, he did the job. I hope he’s in place for the start of the season.

Big shout out to Nuno. He's done realy well to raly everyone in a difficult season. We all loved Coops so for Nuno to come in and follow that was always gonna be difficult. Cracking job imo. Now to develop the identity of the team, try to hold on to key players, and build a stronger squad. COYR

Nuno is a good manager. It'd be brutal if Forest were relegated on his reputation. Points deduction, that random group of signings from when Cooper was still there..........in the most competitive Premier League bottom half in many years. All teams above Forest have been there for longer, and are way more stable. Congrats to Forest fans. I'm sure next season, things will be better :)

Ridiculous season. The league pretty much punished the fans and the city IMO. A lot of things rely on us staying in the league. I won’t forget the stupidity of the EPL anytime soon. Nuno has done a great job coming in to what he did do while simultaneously dealing with a new squad a players.

Nuno has done a great job, but he’s only just started. The difficulties that Forest have had to overcome this season will make them stronger. I hope Nuno is ruthless now in trimming the squad. I hope he keeps the young stars and adds more quality. As much as I love Awonyi he misses far too many games, who’d have thought that it would be Chris Woods goals that kept us up? Sell Awonyi and buy a quality young striker, a quality centre half too. Boly and Wood have been key to survival along with the energy of Aina, MGW, Danilo, Yates, Dominguez, Alanga and CHO
