The only logical way this would happen is if we could find a group of billionaires who would fund every trucker in America and pay his wages while we boycott the industry, demanding increased wages until laws are put in. All of the country would suffer so i reckon it wouldn’t take long. Of course assuming each driver in America is paid 500$ a day it would cost 1.75 B per day to compensate us lol. I’d give it 3-4 days before America crumbles and drivers finally get what they want. Bezos could do it lol

Companies tell you after a year you can lease a truck with them and I feel like they pushed you to join the lease program and of course all they want is $$$. Thank you to The asian mai show 👏🏻👏🏻

The KEY and main idea of this video is “ READ and UNDERSTAND” the contract you are signing. Accepting the first truth so you can see the second truth. In any games and work places, watching out for false promise and false hope is also crucial!
A 99 FLD($15k-$20k) will make you as much money as a 2021 389($120,000+) Geez guys, buy a used truck, get it road ready and get your own authority. Oh and the pre emissions engines on them require maintenance and minor repairs, most issues you can get away with a bypass/quick fix til you get to your mechanic. Not like the new engines that leave you powerless over a stupid code.
@SkilledEddie
3 жыл бұрын
Get your own authority and hope to make it your first year because of high insurance costs and most brokers wont work with new authorities so you will pull cheap freight most likely. If everyone goes out and gets their authority with 1 truck it just drives rates down more.

@@SkilledEddie there are so many ways around that, ways that brokers frown upon but if there’s someone whom I’m not empathic to, it’s brokers. It’s crazy how much truckers block themselves. You are speaking the Gospel Truth. I wish would have known this back when I was 27 and leased my first and last truck for a carrier that was bought out by Swift. I sacrifice alot chasing that pipe dream wanted to buy the truck after my four year Lease . I was paying these jokers 4k a month in the lease and after I found out I have to drop an additional 60k to buy the truck, I was pissed. My marriage was over with because I stayed out thinking I was going to buy the truck and run local in Houston. But now I'm 38 now been in this game for 15 years now currently as a company driver. I made the decision if I wanted to buy a truck. I will buy it outright or finance Fuck a lease!! Great video!!!

So you didn’t read your contract and that’s the company’s fault? Every single lease purchase has a balloon payment at the end just a small amount of research would’ve told that. After 4 yrs you should’ve had a good amount saved up or you could’ve just had your bank finance the 60k after 4yrs running your business successfully you wouldn’t have had any trouble getting approved 🤷🏾
@kinggod3115

You got hit with the ballon payment that's one of the worst man that's bogus af when they know you have family/kids to take care of💯💯💯
Everyone says lease programs are horrible. For MOST they are. Because just like he explains, most guys just jump in without any knowledge. They hear they can make more than a company driver, and are told they can go home whenever they want, and they’re hooked. Don’t read the lease contract. Don’t realize the truck payment still comes out when they go home for an entire week. Don’t realize they’re responsible for EVERYTHING on that truck. Don’t realize the actual costs of normal wear and tear issues like tires which aren’t cheap and you have 10 of them and two of those HAVE to be virgins. These guys just see dollar signs and throw the rest out the window.
“Hard Hustle “ has a point about personal overhead!!! Leasing game requires research for sure!!!! Really wish there were more platforms out there to understand the different types of leasing!!!! Just another step to take in becoming a true owner operator 😎✌️

Best advice ever thanks for taking the time to create this video.
The big problem is people come in not knowing anything about business don’t manage/budget their money and don’t know what it takes to run or repair their truck. Leasing does make the companies money and do rip us off with high interest and payments which is why you need to be smart with your money and stay out of debt. I was an owner op for almost 10 years with my own authority and failed. Went as a company car hauler for 5 years and now leased and doing way better after I’ve learned the hard way. Leasing is a good opportunity just takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I’m almost done and will own this truck.

I have heard that story a many times..Never told to hit home with paperwork in hand.🤠👍
He's spot on! I did lease maintenance at WTI and Lease Purchase. I made way more money under the lease maintenance program than I did for the lease purchase. Found a gig with a guy out of Mississippi. I was grossing in between $8k-$16k a week. Bringing home about $1,800-$3,000 a week. Then I was able to buy my first truck. I didn't make that kind of money in the lease truck. But like bro said, your gross be so high, so others it'll seem like you're making a lot of money. You are grossing and buying your company new trucks and equipment. But you're only bringing home anywhere between $35k-$65k a year.
Does Hard Hustle have a channel? We need more of that knowledge!!!
