Same here, I'm a 63-year-old white male in the US Midwest and love Pink...possibly the best concert I've ever seen was with Pink in a local bar (only about 1000 people) in Indianapolis in 2007. It was her "I'm Not Dead Yet" tour during the Bush and Cheney regime and she sang Dear Mr. President to close the show, powerful stuff!

Pink is a Virgo like me. I believe fear is there for a purpose. Fear tells you to slow down, take a look around, & see if it is safe to proceed. Fear, in & of itself, is not a reason to stop dead in your tracks & refuse to go further; it is just letting you know, you are about to go out of your comfort zone. If you have any sense of curiosity, proceed onward letting fear be your guidepost; it will let you know when you need to zig or zag & when to forge straight ahead. I have seen this amazing woman perform in a big stadium and it was incredible. I also had the very good fortune to see her at a small venue in 2008 - the Metro in Sydney. This is one experience I will never forget.

I rarely watch the interviews because they're always cut so abruptly when it's just going good, but for her (and John Oliver) I always make an exception. If I had to name my first musical crush, it would be her. Not *just* because her first major successful album (I know it wasn't the first-first album) was a big part of my teenage years - thanks for that, btw. Definitely gave me a solid base for being an adult - but also because she's such a unique and interesting artist. Smart, talented, brave when it comes to genres, insanely attractive, not afraid to say what she thinks in her music and anywhere else. I was astonished that she isn't a mega-star in the US( Which I consider a blessing for her, actually) because over across the pond where I live, she definitely is considered such. I might not always like every song she makes. Some are a bit too... meh. But when she gets it right, she gets it RIGHT

Pink is the epitome of a rock star. Coming up in the 70's I was living the rock and roll dream. The disco Era almost did us in and then music went down hill from there. When I heard Pink in the early 2000's I said we're back! She will live on as a music icon.
