Actually it was explained why Yawi was forced to leave out the main 5 roster. After the evaluations done by the management they concluded that the fault was within Yawi’s playstyle. Imagine being defeated consecutively in recent international tournaments were they participated. What worst was they lost against their own MDL team (Echo Proud) which Jaypee was still a member back then.

the thing with yawi is he only knows how to rush forward with fast hands. that can be good most of the time but if u vs pro rushing forward too fast can actually make u lose the game. look at the last game when yawi rush forward yawi and his whole team was so far apart. i don know it's yawi fault for rushing in or team fault for being slow.

Bren roster still remains the same evern after losing mpl, msc, esl all this time and their synergy is the reason why they are in M5 now. Epical glory dnt try to teach other. More time given by same roster means more synergy among them. This synergy collapse with same players playing alongside each other only when they lost the enthusiasm and have no ambition to achieve further. Echo still got high ambition so the change of roster becomes disaster for them this season. Fking epical glory logic commenting in chat without any knowledge how game is played. Blacklist is known for passive gamestyle as their players like edward n oheb has adapted venus style while with the coming of renejay they have now both passive as well as aggressive game style which was a blessing in disguise. To counter bl u need to more agressive and accurate which can only be succeed when same roster played all time with each other to make their synergy good. Let's be honest here, Echo is not getting the chou skin because of all of them use it, it was because of YAWI. It was Yawi skin.

Echo is a perfect example of if it aint broke dont fix it. Aggressive si Yawi pero gifted sya mechanically kaya bawi sa clash. The chemistry between him , Sanji and Benny is undeniable. Akma gameplay nya sa galawan ni Benny. I think pinakamalaking adjustment na ginawa is side ni Benny . Hindi na siya ganun kaaggressive simula ng mawala si Yawi. Which caused their downfall.

Pareho nmn magaling si Jaypee and Yawi. Nagbabago lng tlga ng playstyle nila. Sabi nga ni coach bon if si Jaypee, very discipline and smooth ng playstyle nila. Pero pag si yawi very explosive and chaotic ng playstyle n kung saan nakilala ang "ECHO EXPRESS". E kasi ang BLCKlist very consistent sila kaya ung disciplined n style d tlga eepek sa kanila. They scrim 2:2 and jaypee got a better results, they also scrim against their mdl team to determine their line up. 2 for yawi 2 for jaypee I guess jaypee got a better results in scrim then the voting happens, 3 players voted for jaypee then coach tictac and trebor split their vote. Nung nagsimula na ang season tsaka lang naging 3:1 ang hatiaan nina jaypee and yawi for scrim, viable naman kase si jaypee ang naglalaro nung playoffs lang nawalan ng scrim time si yawi I guess mas nagfocus sila kay jaypee ride or die. Wala na tayong magagawa move on na lang I guess bye bye yawi na eto next season.

​@@sheesh6085 Scrims are different from the actual game on stage. Kita mo kahit walang practice si Yawi e nakaisa sila sa Blacklist kasi iba talaga yung impact ni Yawi sa drafting pa lang. Kita mo biglang nagreact yung Blacklist sa drafting phase. Si Jaypee wala kang ibaban diyan. Alam mo na kung bakit.

Game 3 basically shows that no matter how good the support if the enemy tank set you up it is useless. And one more thing, people using the word passive without even knowing it's proper meaning. Passive means waiting for things to happen without taking action, so basically Jaypee plays depending on what fate gives? That is why they lost, they wait for things to happen without creating the proper scenario for their advantage.

What exactly was working? Echo lost every tournament after m4 with yawi. Maybe not his fault entirely, but echo wasn’t the same after m series

-yawi and echo don't even play 5 man anymore in ranked, and people expected him to play well. -echo played yawi at the playoffs' last stand match, so people would probably blame yawi if it's 3-0. edit - also playing yawi at match point made him take so much pressure.

And even with that, yawi still played well, there were some rough spots on that game for him sure but you can see the impact, lets say jaypee has slightly better shotcalling but look how freely benny and the others can play aggressively with yawi on the team, ive never seen benny got a comfortable lead on the gold lane on that match with jaypee playing.. yes, echo express is a strat/gameplay that does have risks (its always been high risk high reward) its been that way since m4, its compensated with the team's teamfight prowess in which yawi is one of the main pillars of it..

It is really upsetting that they only let Yawi play when they’re already losing

If only yawi played from the first match

The pH team believes that the Indonesian team (EVOS) did not develop DLAR's potential and did not even play it in MPL ID last season... But the PH team itself did the same thing with YAWI 😅 YAWI itself is a Roamer that Indonesian teams are quite wary of. it's very unfortunate, even though ECHO's Identity is an aggressive pick off that Yawi often does... that's how to beat the Blacklist, if you compete in Discipline the Blacklist is still above ECHO.

explosiveness & consistency are far different. that was yawi & jaypee. consistent that can play in different opponent, while explosive can play more than what different opponent expected to a team. sad to say Echo mas ginusto nila ang consistency kaya naubosan sa dulo. that's for me kasi nakilala ang Echo in previous compitation to be a Explosive Team.

They should stick with Jaypee in Game 3. I see their plan. They put Yawi in Game 3 hoping he will lose the match and will say in media "they tried but did not deliver" but they WON Game 3 with his aggressive plays. Can you see the BANS in Game 3? They ban all Yawi's heroes! Imagine the respect there. You will see Yawi was always infront and not passive. Always checking. Always engaging. That's the Echo we always wanted.

As I see it, nawala kasi yung identity ng echo na aggressive. Naging passive sila. Nung start ok sya kaya sila nanalo ng 11-0. Pero since lahat kasi ng teams now ay ganun ang style nakaadopt lahat on how to counter echo. Parang alam na nila na oh atayan for the right moment. Unlike before, echo will take the risk and in sinc sila on how and who they will pick off. Sayang lang at nasira yung way of playing nila.

Yawi should change team as soon as the contract ended.

This is the cruelty of META changes, the strongest team without weaknesses can suddenly turn into an ordinary team full of weaknesses. Pwede kasi talagang may violation si Yawi and based sa mga nakikita ko at alam ko e may malalang nagawa si Yawi though hindi yun related sa mismong laro pero medyo malala talaga. Then mas maganda naman laro ni Benny kapag si Yawi yung roamer kaya hindi rin ako makapaniwala na binoto ni Benny si Jaypee kasi but4w ang laro ni Benny kapag si Jaypee yung roamer. also mpl ph s11 champion, and 3rd place in msc. it isn't that bad, msc was an international tournament after all. it wasn't easy, at least they qualify for msc. but with jaypee, they don't even qualify for m5.

Kung sana ang ginawa ng Echo ay pinagsasalit nila sila Jaypee saka Yawi sa scrims, mayroon sana silang teamfight lineup saka explosive lineup. Kaso wala e, kahit ano pa grind ni Yawi sa rg hindi naman niya laging nakakalaro ung mga teammates nya ng kumpleto (base lang sa streams niya). Sobrang unfair ng ginawa sa kanya lalo na nung pinasok pa sya kung kailan match point na blacklist, dagdag pressure pa yun.

Pareho nmn magaling si Jaypee and Yawi. Nagbabago lng tlga ng playstyle nila. Sabi nga ni coach bon if si Jaypee, very discipline and smooth ng playstyle nila. Pero pag si yawi very explosive and chaotic ng playstyle n kung saan nakilala ang "ECHO EXPRESS". E kasi ang BLCKlist very consistent sila kaya ung disciplined n style d tlga eepek sa kanila. Kaya need nila ng " ECHO EXPRESS" Pag BL ang kalaban.

Yung mga naniniwala sa post ni tictac sa Facebook eh naniniwala din na hindi na mag iimprove si yawi. Basahin nyo yung first comment sa post ni tictac kung medyo nalalabuan kayo.

If all the interviews were true, we can’t really blame echo as the team voted that Jaypee would be a better fit as they had that 11 or 12 winstreak. Probably Yawi’s mood also sort of affected the whole team morale and thus they didn’t get the ticket to M5. At the very least, even with their moral not being at the top, they still manage to get 3rd place in MPL PH which is already respectable for the whole team!

no one's discrediting jaypee for the winstreaks the problem is that the team and management did not particularly solved the problem instead becomes more greedy because of the winstreaks and then your gonna put yawi on a tight spot when echo started losing games come on man you don't do that to him they already declared that they don't trust him did they really think that subbing in yawi will solved the problem are they stupid? Do they really think yawi is a joke to do that as if nothing happens? The players, coaches and the management prioritize the winstreaks over the bond of their team which result to their teams moral being destroy. Showing distrust to your teammates is like putting a knife on his neck
