Interesting to know that this is an actual thing, as I normally either scream, cry, or have a panic attack - my family doesn't care and my friends think it's weird... Good to know that it's not just some silly thing like my friends make it out to be.....

@𝙾𝚆𝙴𝙽𝙽 I had no idea it had a name I’m terrified of storms and have to wear noise canceling earphones to stay calm or blast music in my ears if I don’t have them on me but I also have sensory issues so that might play a big role in why they terrify me

You know it's kinda funny that I'm scared of loud noises like firecrackers/fireworks and balloon popping but I really never was scared of thunder

Hell yeah

I used to be terrified of thunderstorms because my parents where often out doing something so I was alone. But it's not the loneliness that scares me its the idea of Lightning and how quickly it could end lives. I was scared when they would go out for hours and not be back quickly. Call it Anxiety or Astraphobia, to be honest maybe it was age that helped me get over my fear but I'm not sure.

I have the same problem with getting hurt. When I get hurt (Big or Small) I never tell ANYBODY because i think they will either be mad or annoyed. My younger sister always finds out somehow though..... She keeps telling me to tell our parents but i don't.

I cried. No joke. This made me so happy because William realized about his past and about how he had the same thing. But Lola and Johnathan helped him to not be scared anymore so that's what William did for Mike. This made me cry in happiness. (I also am really afraid of thunderstorms!) Have a nice day! :,)

As a person who grew up in a desert (Utah) and now lives in that same state, but in a hotter area, *rain is a hecking* *_blessing_* but I never really understood why people were afraid of thunderstorms, unless there was some truma behind it. Then I remembered. *_Its loud explosions coming from the sky, who wouldn't be scared_* (still not afraid of thunderstorms, but I feel bad for those who are, stay strong guys!)

This reminds me of one of my memories 😅 Story time? This reminds me of when I was having a panic attack during a storm (My best friend was in the hospital having surgery) My dad walks in my room sees me and straight up says "Panic attacks are not real. People make them up for attention 🙄." It took him until I stopped breathing for a full like 30 seconds to realise it was real he never made that mistake again 🙂 I don't blame him to be honest that was my first real break down for a good reason the rest were for drama and attention
