@@c2819fnf no, it's the truth. Relationships require *EXTRA* love, which means you have to have enough love to love yourself, and then pour the extra out for someone else

I think it shouldn't just be for the purpose of taking care of others. You need to love yourself for that sake alone. But I get what you're saying. It's easier to practice self-love when you realize that others benefit from it because if you don't love yourself in the first place, then that's not a very good motivator. A person who doesn't love themself has no reason to take care of themselves.

Work means nothing to me, I do it because I must and only as much as I need. I realized the grim truth early in life, we will all be dead sooner than we think. Time is the only type of wealth that matters, every hour not spent experiencing life and enjoying the things and people that bring you happiness is an hour that is lost forever. That's the secret rich people don't want the rest of us to know, they don't care about money directly, they care about the time and experiences that the money affords them. They make sure we trade our free time to increase theirs. "Time is money" doesn't mean what we always assumed it meant, time itself is the thing of value. No amount of money is worth your time and your time wallet is always decreasing, only spend as much as you absolutely must. The clock is ticking.

It's about emotional health. Our brain is the biggest organ in our body and our brain and physical health speak. Taking care of ourselves emotionally, learning to negotiate anxiety, loss, depression, stress that lasts longer than 2 weeks, it all takes a toll. Balance and self soothing make a difference. If you need a day off take it. ❤

Why are there always derogatory comments in these shorts? Always when it’s women talking they’re mocking them for whatever reason, especially their appearance. Why is KZread algorithm recommending shorts to that demographic, and not the full videos? Always when it’s very short, easily digestible content, there seems to be people (predominantly men) who make inappropriate and anti-intellectual comments. Wouldn’t be surprised if short attention spans are correlated with a lack of critical thinking.

Until I read your comment I had no plan to point out her weight. That aside, I can assure you that if an overweight man shared his opinion on how people should take care of themselves they'd yield the same criticism, too. This is not an instance of a woman being picked-on as a result of her gender, but the irony of her hypocrisy

@@boyermatthews2177 While I appreciate your point of view, I disagree. Men in academia are far less likely to be made fun of their looks than women in academia. Almost every time someone brings it up when it’s a woman talking. Just scroll through BigThink’s shorts.

Quit job and live. Move out of CAPATALISTS. Life is for living. I am not here to count imaginary numbers or whistle sounds with imaginary meanings. Nothing to loose nothing to gain at the end. Think capitals and resources as all in a plate; regardless when one wins, another looses; what's capitalising? Where? At who's expense? Fear not the fear they shout - go out and live away from systemized systems!
