I’ve been going through that right now with moving away from home. Everyone’s being so negative about it and don’t want me to move so far away and I 100% have said to my boyfriend maybe this isn’t right because I can put aside my well being even though my home life is toxic in order for their emotions and well being to be okay. some bitch ik they deserve to live there life And relax a bit. It would be so stressful to have to worry about editing something for days making a really long video and making sure you guys look happy. Sometimes it’s really hard to act happy when you’re not and they just need to let their lives. There are 19 and they deserve a childhood we would all be getting. I know that it makes almost anyone feel good when they see a smile put on another face but when you’re not happy it’s not as fun or enjoyable for anybody. I think they could’ve taken a longer break but they still felt as if they were letting us down. I get that it is their job and it is the main priority of theirs but still they’re so young and need to relax.

Expressing your emotion doesn't make you weak whatsoever, it's a cope mechanism and that's okay to cry sometimes. I lost my mom 8 years ago when i was 19, just a step before i reached quarter life crisis and she's not around with me, so i gotta continue growing up without her. I kinda see where you're coming from and i wanna let you know that you're growing up strong and you've done well. Just stay the same, be who you are and be honest to yourself. You gotta trust someone to talk about your feelings and that takes so much effort and that's okay, take your time. I hope you continue doing well in the future and always remember that you matter. God it’s annoying me how much they keep saying they’re selfish and that they feel guilty!! They’re so selfless! It’s so amazing, but for crying out, loud your dad passed away you’re aloud to make time for yourself... I know this was so long ago and the documentary has happened since this, but this was such a bad time for them and I’m so glad they’ve came out of the other side. They’re honestly some of the strongest youtubers on the internet I can’t even begin to imagine what they felt and went through... So many of their fans support them, they’re aloud to (and needed to) take a long time off to spend time with family and I’m so glad they are, where they are now

This comment had me think about what I thought to myself during this quarantine. I’ve been literally doing a lot of thinking about the times I’ve been lied to and hurt by the people I love. It gave me anxiety/panic attack because it was too much to process but as weeks went by I’ve been really feeling a different change and I feel mature in how to deal with my issues and I’m only 17.

I cried during all of this, I don't think I have ever had so much respect for two people. Real fans will get this,support them no matter what and understand and will wait for their vids. Gray and E need to take time for them selfs and heal. I love them so so so so so much.

I hate how people really believed they acted like “nothing happened” when they started up YouTubing a month after their dad pasted. like so many people literally comment “I couldn’t move on from such and suchs death till like 3 years later how are they just moving on?” .. they just continued with their career because they didn’t want to let any of their fans down and their dad. they didn’t allow themselves to grieve because they felt like doing that would let their dad down and they didn’t want him to see them giving up their passion. and to top that they don’t have normal lives like we all do. they are public social media entertainers. their dad wanted them to continue w KZread. and ofc they felt grief. they have own lives behind the cameras. so ofc they grieved but the second they did they’d stop themselves because they felt like they were disappointing people.. it’s truly sad seeing how hard they’ve been on themselves 💔🥺 it’s sad knowing they were scared to allow themselves to grieve. they had to hold all those emotions in for the longest time. so much love for them ❤️

So true. Their mentality is toxic with how they think about things and people. Like especially Grayson. He’s so hard on himself and just is afraid of crying probably cause of the stereotype and that boys don’t cry. And especially in front of his older brother. Same for Ethan. He didn’t want to show his younger brother him being upset. So sad. I think they just need to be held and loved and taken care of or nurtured. They moved to los angles pretty early on and were living alone so no one really took care of them. But the way that they think they let their dad down. Or their fans. Is just heartbreaking. They just need to let easy. In their documentary. When Grayson was silently sobbing with Ethan in the beginning he said he didn’t want to let his dad down because when he cried in front of his dad. His dad would start crying as well so in order to make sure their dad isn’t crying. He wouldn’t cry and would just keep it to himself as Sean’s condition got worse. So sad that Grayson didn’t even cry or allow himself pain when Sean first passed. He felt guilty about being upset. But also guilty that he wanted Sean to pass so he isn’t suffering anymore. So heartbreaking all the way around 🥺❤️💔

They are too young to worry about things like this 😭

It saddened me how Ethan kept saying 'ik it's dramatic' when all he's doing now is letting out his emotions. I'm honestly so excited to see your guy's real side.

Honestly and it seemed so quick like when my dad passed I know I’m not famous or anything but I still took time off from everything I was so sad 😞 and well then depression happened and doctor visits, it’s not easy losing someone and it affects everyone differently and well they seemed so happy after taking awhile off but they probably weren’t ready

I just now came across you guys after watching the video with James Charles. As a mother of a nine year old boy who wants to be a youtuber, this breaks my heart. I don’t know when your father passed, and I see you’ve been doing this for quite a while, but you boys need to not worry about anyone else but your mental well being, and your family. Yes, I hear that you are thankful for the people who have helped get you to where you are, but you need to grieve, and enjoy the roaring 20’s as you will soon be. It’s ok to not post everyday. I lost my father when I was 7 to cancer. I know what it was like to grow up without one. Even 10 years later, I still get a punch in the gut when I see a father-daughter relationship. If you ever need to talk to someone who has been there, I am here for you:)
