@@p1to17Branded and themed don’t have to be synonymous. This feels like it’s going for 1950s/60s era pop kitsch, but in the era of late stage capitalism, it doesn’t even work ironically. Luxury brands occasionally branch out into tacky aesthetics, but branded collaborations between “affordable” kitchen table brands run by mega corps and luxury clothing designers really does feel like a metaphor for a slowly dying society.
