Ingredients:
4 slices of bread
50g (1/2 cup) breadcrumbs
2 eggs
3 thin slices of ham
60g Emmental cheese or any
2 tbsp olive oil or any
chives (optional)
pinch of salt

I’ve tried to imagine what could be used instead of Cuban bread crumbs to roll n chill roll n chill ... the oval devil crap rolls ( for ball shaped) the way in Ybor in Tampa fl does well at a few places with real crab n one store product that isn’t anywhere to be found a longer in Tampa nor way up Nth Fl that we live now would panko be similar because Cuban real Cuban bread is up this way either

Looks really good and simple to make. You can buy real good Vermont or Wisconsin packaged shredded cheese w/so many varieties out there for your palate. Nice Smoked Ham & Smoked Swiss would taste awesome with Vermont Maple Syrup to dip on the side!

packaged grated cheeses have a something on them to prevent the cheese from sticking back together. If you don't want that (whatever it is), get a chunk and grate it yourself.

Made it with some shredded mozzarella and a couple of ham steaks (it was all the ham I had on hand). It was delicious! Will definitely keep this recipe on hand! Heh, ended up having a bunch of leftover chopped ham which I just fried up with the leftover egg mixture. Next time I'll make sure to cut up a bit less ham lol!

That does look delicious. I will try it out, thanki for the recepiece. I can not help to keep wondering about how it would taste if you do short fry the bacon a bit seperately before putting it in with the chese and maybe also add some little bits of ried bacon cubes into it or even things like short cubes of friec paprica and or mushrooms in very tiny and fried cubes in it are surely tasty as well.
